Nobody hates American boxers where do you get that from, people just hate rubbbish boxers. I don't think anyone hates Tank, he'd actually be very popular round the world if he tried. Nobody knows who he is to hate him and I've never heard a non American say a bad thing about a boxer other than his willingness to engage the rest of the world in the sport. Tank could be a true world champion but hiding on PBC island ain't going to get him there.

Historically American boxers were regarded as the best and liked as such .. the Brits vs US as you call it started it when the Americans got cr*p and the Americans felt slighted when everyone started praising the other nations. Almost all of this comes from the paper champion Wilder whose record must be one of the worst in heavyweight history it's laughable and the Americans trying to blame this on anti American sentiment rather than a lack of talent.

Brits could care less about competing with America , its Australia, Germany and France in sport who are their natural enemies. India and Pakistan would be higher up than America.
Americans are the most jingoistic nation on Earth all that USA, USA stuff, if two different countries fight in the US you must have the US national anthem as well.
at boxing matches .. who does that ??

Also plenty of sports to compete with America .. Tennis, Golf, Sailing, Athletics, cycling.

This is the reason why taylor is a lb for lb fighter and will go on to be an alltime great ! davis is not because taylor is chasing legacy and davis is just chasing money fact !

We all live in a world where you can rewritte history if you have enough money.. Boxers/athletes should not be expected to become socialists just to please fans or line the pockets of promoters. If one can afford leave a milion or more on the table, they probably aren't boxing to earn a living.

Tank has a lot of haters, just like Floyd did. In fact, many of the haters are the same group of people! So long as 15-16K asses are in seats, Tank is doing just fine! Personally, I want him to follow-up that win by fighting GRJ, Mikey, Haney, or Prograis!

Either one of those guys will definitely help his legacy and still be a big money fight

I can only speak for myself, obviously, but as a boxing fan, I want to see Tank fight the best opponents at his weight class. Kudos to him for moving up 2 weight classes and taking care of business. He has great potential, but it's unfortunate for boxing fans that he is going down the 'Money' Mayweather path, rather than the 'Pretty Boy' Floyd route; at least Floyd challenged himself and beat all comers before 'turning heel' and becoming a caricature of himself lol...

I believe Tank beats all 3 those are fights that could raise his profile with some people on here but others will say GRJ was too small Haney wasnt really that good and Mikey is washed up. I would love to see Tank fight all 3 of those guys though. Every one presents another set of problems for him.

Another built in duck...don't want to fight a tough opponent? Just insist no one knows who he is. Ellerbe has no room to talk when he insists Tank will only fight in-house opponents. No one is going to pay to watch Tank whoop up on no-name journeymen. I'm sure the "fans" that were asked who Taylor is were sitting in free seats. Right now, Ellerbe is trying to figure out how to spin the PPV numbers for Saturday's fight.

A lot of people know who Loma, Lopez and Garcia are...why not fight them?

I heard Davis use the term,dare to be great. And I believe that's what he wants. But he is being held back and as a grown ass man Davis needs to address that.
