Come on now, Ramirez and Taylor drew a very sizeable tv ratings when they fought, way more than anything Tank has drawn, not to mention the U.K money that comes along with fighting Taylor. Taylor is the 140 undisputed champion, if Tank wanted that fight, people would be interested, no doubt, all due respect, Who really knew who Barrios was? Maybe some hardcores but I think it's safe to say, people now, know Taylor a little more after the Ramirez fight.Comment

Loma is almost 40yrs old and 7 years older. You’re so smart though. I remember you fanboys calling undefeated Pedraza a bum when Tank KO him. Then all of a sudden he was a great fighter when Loma went the distance with him.Comment

JT doesn't need Davis. Josh has just earned the right to go for elite fights like bud or Teofimo. He is legacy driven not business driven. There's a pecking order for him in big fights and Davis is well down it. Davis is big buisness but sports fans want to view fights not bank balances . Until Davis gets up that pecking order he don't mean **** to JoshComment

Are hats at the heart of why a few of these cats in this post are so triggered. There is a real bitterness about tank and his success so far. They hate that he sells out arenas in various American cities and they hate that he sells PPVs. They also hate that tank refused to be lured to dayzin by young Edward who was trying to use farmer as bait to get tank. Notice how quickly Edward abandoned farmer after he lost. The bitterness in this thread you’re seeing pointed at fans who enjoy seeing tank fight is specifically a British problem and one that I have spoken about before. There is a tendency towards people in Britain having a complex about America and being known to Americans. If it is perceived that we are not being given respect by the USA or if they don’t know about specific British countries within the kingdom or are not respecting British fighters as well respect as they are in the U.K. it can give the highly “motivated” U.K. sports fan a bit of an inferiority complex. The idea that the 15k fans in Atlanta that watched the fight love don’t go around thinking about Scotland or England or Wales or Cornwall or Northern Ireland or the Isle of Man etc can be perceived as disrespectful to them. You don’t really notice this until you leave the U.K. and spend a significant time in the USA and understand how big the USA is and how many countries across the globe are influenced by American culture…they all want the USA to “notice” them…
How can anyone diminish the U.K's contribution to the sport of boxing? Modern day boxing which had evolved from illegal bare-knuckle boxing which Tyson Fury still does to this day; Was founded in London, England under the Marques of Queensberry Rules back in 1865 which were subsequently published in 1867.
Then around the turn of the 20th Century; England banned boxing and It shifted to the U.S. Where it really became a very hugely popular and mainstream sport.Comment

And this is why tank’s win was meaningful. He jumped two weight classes to take on an undefeated world champion who had never been off his feet. There is a segment of fans on this forum who are just triggered by his win. In fact every fight he has they say the same thing.Comment
