Way to go Edward for pushing this fight back as far as possible! Revenge is a dish best served cold. That's right you punish those bastards for allowing you to hang in the wind and for stringing you along like that.

That's egg on your face Bob Arum for moving the Wilder/Fury trilogy bout up as far as you can in order to schedule a Fall bout with Anthony Joshua for undisputed by the end of year in either late November or December.

However, that fight won't happen now because, in addition to Tyson Fury losing to Deontay Wilder anyhow; There is a not a remote chance in Hell of it ever happening this year at all because that ship has sailed.

From the looks of things; Tyson Fury won't be fighting twice this year after all and I just fucking love it! You sharks have fucked Eddie and now Eddie has just fucked you guys back.

Incredible how difficult it is to set up a match with AJ in it!

You guys keep saying that lol.

AJ is capable of going 12 rounds while on his bike. If he wants to, he will do it.

AJ seems to gas when he trades way too much. Going for the finish when the finish ain’t there. He does too much. Otherwise if he plays it smart and let the KO happen when it happens, his stamina is good.

Both times I saw him gas was from throwing too many punches for too long. He is a HW not a Bantamweight. His body naturally can’t sustain using up that much energy at once.

He paced himself vs Ruiz in the rematch and looked perfectly fine stamina wise for 12 rounds.

Don’t worry. We will just need to deal with the “AJ just beat a blown up Cruiserweight who was already exposed by Chisora. Big deal.” It never ends with boxing fans you know they have an encyclopedia of excuses as to why some win wasn’t good enough for them.

Before that win, we have to read and hear how and why a fighter is ducking someone. When the fight gets made, we have to read about how the fighter who was ducking is going to either lose or how he chose the opponent at the right time to beat him and he is actually taking the fight to duck someone else (Luis Ortiz maybe?).

After the ducking fighter loses, we need to hear how he was exposed and how the group of fans knew all along and are amazing at predicting fights. If the ducking fighter wins, we need to hear about how the scorecards were too wide, or how the big bad opponent they were ducking was actually not good enough after all, or was too old, or too green, or too small, or too weak.

It’s a never ending cycle of boxing.

hey, all good points. I just love the matchup and think usyk is a trouble matchup for AJ. And my money will be on the usyk upset in the late rounds.

They interviewed one of the top PBC guys and he spelt it out if Ruiz had won the rematch no one outside the PBC would see those belts again. Pre Fury Wilder would only defend in the States against Haymon/King fighters not a single Top Rank, Matchroom.

If Usyk wins you can't begrudge him though on paper Usyk vs Fury is one for the pure-ist.

That will depend on Eddie and his "we're the A-side". If they offer a fair 50-50 deal, there is a good chance the fight will be made. Anything else, and we'll go back to he said and she said. To me, Joshua-Wilder is a bigger fight than Joshua-Fury. The latter will mostly interest UK fans only while the former has a more global appeal.

Gawd.... this site would need to go dark if we get a Usyk/Wilder unification down the road. People would just blow up their keyboards crying.

It would be SO MUCH fun....
