For someone who's considerably bigger than most of the guys in lightweight, I expected something better. I think he loses to Kambosos, Lomachenko and Tank. All three of those guys take him out.

Funnily enough I think Haney could actually beat Kambosos, just in a styles make fights type way, 50/50 fight IMO.

Tank, Loma even Teofimo all stop him though IMO.

I am not comparing their skill, I'm comparing their (lack of) chins. Haney is going on someone's highlight reel like Khan did for Danny G and Canelo.

Good fighter but absolutely nothing special about him, the comparisons to Floyd are absurd.
The comparisons to Floyd are definitely ****** but all these youngsters get compared to him just like Floyd and others were getting compared to SRL. Just part of the game.

Haney has some flaws for sure but he wants to test himself against the best and just had a very solid win over Jojo Diaz. This actually played out very similar to GRJ vs Diaz.

Haney is more of an athlete than a technical fighter and his defense needs to be cleaned up. He still can beat Lopez/Garcia/Kambosos though. He's at that level and knows how to win rounds.

Kambosos vs Haney in Australia the spring of 2022?

To be fair, Haney hasn't crumbled to the grou d or danced around the ring like a baby deer yet so........

There’s no way in hell this kid could hang with Teofimo or Tank. Even Ryan Garcia walks through him IMO.
Completely agree and have agreed all along, but hes at least willing to fight everyone unlike most.

(even though I knew he picked Jojo for his short reach/punch inactivity & lack of power.(& Even Jojo hurt him badly & landed the majority of the clean punches in more rds imho(Haney just used his reach & dirty tricks everytime Jojo got close. If Diaz was a lil more active hed have won almost every rd imho. )

Got ushered to his corner by Jorge after doing the stanky leg though.

I think Loma v Haney would be a pickem fight because out of those 3 hes the one who has been exposed the most at lw(even though Teo got exposed,he looked like he still would destroy at lw with a better camp & strategy (like hiring outside trainer)

I only say Haneys a pickem v Loma because of his reach & size, otherwise Loma would beat him easily because skill for skill hes better

You’re spot on with that first sentence, people bought into the fact he was some technical wizard when in reality he’s an athletic guy with good speed and accuracy.

Kambosos vs Haney is actually a very close fight IMO. I think Kambosos lacks the size and power to get to him. I actually slightly favour Haney.

Even though, I don’t rate Ryan Garcia too high, I actually think he blitzes Haney. I just think he has the size and raw power to walk through him.

Styles make fights as they say.
