Vic Darchinyan lost to Nonito then shortly after was on p4p lists as well after destroying Mijares. Nishioka was the #1 122lb fighter when Nonito beat him too.
I see he is number 7 P4P with the Ring in 2010, and Pongsaklek Wonjongkam is 6! LMAO. The Ring trying to be trendy throwing in some lesser-known light guys. They had Broner 6 in 2012, then again, Broner is Sugar Ray Robinson compared to Pongsaklek Wonjongkam.

Wonjongkam made 20-something consecutive defenses of a lineal championship, won it back and made 13 more defenses.

Why is that ranking something to laugh at?

He beat nobody and lost to bums. Ricky Burns won world titles in four divisons, made multiple defences, yet never got into my top 50, or anyone else that I know's top 50, yet his resume is much better than that guy.

Again, what you say or think is irrelevant.

Stick to the facts, Montiel was a Top 10 P4P ranked fighter. Whether that’s right or wrong is irrelevant, he was a P4P ranked fighter.

You saying Donaire didn’t beat any world class fighters is not true, simple as that. It’s flat out wrong.

It wasn’t the only P4P fighter he beat either.

Just because you don’t pay attention to the lower weight divisions doesn’t mean some of these guys don’t deserve to be ranked very highly.

He won the lineal title by beating the guy, who beat the guy, who beat Manny Pacquiao.

So he clearly beat good fighters.

He also won 55 consecutive bouts and set a record for number of title defenses in the flyweight division.

So let’s stop pretending that ranking is a joke. It clearly isn’t.

Donaire is a first ballot hall of famer who has held multiple world championships across 4 different weight divisions. And is still relevant at age 38.

              But he's overrated.

I guess it says a lot about me that I still frequent this forum -- but this forum is such a cesspool, lol. Boxing fans are the worst.
