Why do people (like Mike Coppinger) fall into the Teofimo 'Undisputed' label?

Its pretty much like the wba. At this point the wbc belt that hankey has is the regular whereas ththe franchise belt is the super. Hankey got an email belt and has the worst resume of the 5. Only reason they emailed it to him was because sulieman wants the hearn money he pays that bum. Cold hard fact

What you don't understand is the Franchise is a REWARD man, it's NOT a championship belt

Lopez to all boxing fans should be considered undisputed at 135 unless they are fans of the current WBC champ Devin Haney who won via email.

Boxing fans are the worst and when you question them, they all turn into the late Roger Mayweather with that “You Don’t Know Boxing” response haha. Nothing but race lead boxing fans up in here

I blame the wbc since they’re the ones who started required the step of wbc unification on the way to undisputed.

I really don't care about undisputed so these conversations always seem sorta silly. To me there is only #1 that matters as to where one stands in the division cuz the belts & sport are so corrupted its almost impossible to even get a chance to fight for all the belts even if you are the best guy in the division. You gotta sell your fooking soul & fight endless sh^tty mando's to get them & keep them. Undisputed kinda sucks to by quite honest. So I definitely see Teo as The Champion & the #1 guy & Devin is just a guy who won a vacant paper title or a guy I'd consider a title holder currently.

Lomachenko was the WBC Champion right? Then he got upgraded to franchise WBC, so surely he’s the WBC champion? Or am I missing something?

Lopez beat Lomachenko so surely logically Lopez is the WBC Champion.

I don’t consider anyone that gets “upgraded” to a Champion a Champion anyway so Haney definitely isn’t the WBC Champion in my eyes.
LMFAO, this is why people quit watching boxing right here. I mean imagine explaining this to just a random sports fans & the looks he'd give you. It sounds soooooo foooooooking stuuuuuupid this happens in boxing. But yea this is what happened & what went down. And this is the reasoning behind me no longer caring about undisputed, unified or pretty much belts in general. I consider top ten caliber guys in 3 levels these days, the #1 guy, a title holder or a contender. It'd be cool if it was just the champion & the contenders, but boxing makes no sense outside the ring so here we are talking about this sh^t like its Boxing Fan Fiction or some sh^t.

Doesn’t matter what Lopez says, and how much he wants to downplay and rally dumbos to eat up that tribe.
Fact is, Teofimo is just as much the WBC champion as Haney. And in my opinion he has the bigger claim as he won his title in the ring vs Loma.

Who did Haney beat again to even be considered WBC champion before getting his secondary title turned into full status via email.

Teofimo’s claim at WBC champion status, which in turn makes him undisputed, is much stronger than Haney’s claim.

I mean that's true regarding why people quit watching the sport. The ****** politics have messed up the sport a lot.

What you dont understand is its not a reward. A reward is what carnelo gets when he fights. The aztec/mayan belts. Those are rewards. But the franchise is a real belt and lopez beat the man. You guys can parade around and claim hankey as a legit champ but hes a turd polished in gold.

This is what we thought before Loma-Lopez… that it wasn’t a championship, and just a designation

however, Lopez won the franchise championship from Loma. This goes against what we initially thought. In practice, the franchise championship is much like the WBA super title now

this is why it’s up for debate as to whether or not the franchise title is the true WBC title. If it can be won and lost just like any other, then it should be recognised as such.. especially if the WBC themselves say it’s a superior title to the regular world title

will probably take another franchise championship for it to become mainstream recognised
