  • Bob Arum: Pacquiao/Crawford Failure Was OUR Fault, Not Manny. Crawford Doesn't Sell, Kudos To Haymon

    Serious question.

When is the #2 P4P going to STOP letting this old MF'er cuck him publicly like this?

Crawford has already admitted to enjoying the easy work for easy pay. Teo is under the same banner you don't see him bending over lol.

    Fk Bob and Crawford..

Numero dos been taking a page out of the Timmeh playbook

it’s time he takes a page out the Floyd playbook. Buy out of the contract with bop who doesn’t believe in his ability to sell

To stay in the business Arum has to make a profit on the fights he promotes, if he has a boxer under contract and proposed fights are not financially viable then he is not going to make them. While I'm a Crawdaddy fan he does very little to promote himself to the wider audience so obviously Arum is unhappy with him, making the problem public could be Arum's way of trying to stir C up and do something publicity wise. It's business, nothing personal.

Let the idiots on NSB tell it, Paquiao wants to fight Spence because he believes he has a better chance than against Crawford. Nothing to do with money.

Reportedly Bud’s deal with Arum is up in October. Bob has repeatedly said he’s losing money on Bud and can’t pay to make big fights because Bud can’t sell.
If he stays with Top Rank then he’s clearly ducking the big fights and hiding behind his promoter.
Leave TR and take some legacy fights or take the easy route and retire as a “what if” fighter and be quickly forgotten. His choice.

Lets see what Bud does in October. The problem with Arum is that even when a contract finishes he still has some type of small print that makes it hard for a fighter to leave him. In the other hand Bud thinks that he is worth more than the market is willing to pay him. Nobody really cares about him because he has not fought the fights that matter. Fighting popular faded UK fighters so he can fill out is bank account is not enough.

Or Crawford loses his "0" and his belt on the way out.

Judging by that article it's apparent that Top Rank is through with Terence Crawford. At this point he has no leverage at all.

How in the world did he ever believe that he deserved a 50/50 or 60/40 percent split in his favor against Erroll Spence,Jr after his own promoter has just said that he does not sell pay per views are far and beyond my imagination?

If he is still interested in a fight with Erroll Spence, then I would only offer him a 70/30 deal. He can either take it or leave it because Spence's doesn't need him. His stock is only going to rise after this Pacquiao fight anyhow.

Slowly but surely Spence is well on his way onto becoming one of the biggest cash cows in boxing.

Thought Haymon wasn't real, tho? Didn't exist.
