Bob Arum: Pacquiao/Crawford Failure Was OUR Fault, Not Manny. Crawford Doesn't Sell, Kudos To Haymon

But overall his Top Rank deal is bad or boxing. Not interested in the BS fights Top Rank has to offer him.

I'm guessing he now see's that, because he sounds ready to move on. He should've offered Pac the money. I'm sure it would've paid itself back over time versus letting Bud fight all these unknowns for a pretty penny.
If he'd let Bud go to PBC it would have been a huge coup for them and signalled a significant shift in the US power balance. I think denying that to PBC was worth quite a few $ mil to the old snake, and **** the fans.
I don't blame Bud for taking the money put in front of him and I don't blame Bob for being a businessman - end of the day part of his job is to **** over his business rivals - but it is just one more example of how and why the sport needs a complete overhaul. **** sucks for everyone.

And my issue is, when that happens, people on this very board fall for it every time.

So it's not Pacquiao's fault the fight with Crawford didn't happen. But why do I keep hearing this thing about Pacquiao demanding $40 million? Arum wanted the fight in Abu Dabi, but he ran out of time negotiating for that fight. The TR chief later said on a separate video that he could have made the fight in Vegas, but that it was risky. Whatever that means.

If he stays with Top Rank then he’s clearly ducking the big fights and hiding behind his promoter.
Leave TR and take some legacy fights or take the easy route and retire as a “what if” fighter and be quickly forgotten. His choice.
