Hunter won't get any exposure though. If he's on a fight bill, anyone who's watching will do something else while he's on. There is no reason to watch him fight a stiff. He doesn't even have an attractive style. He isn't a world champion, or even a former one. There is actually no angle that i can see that is positive. For other fighters, sure. But not Hunter. This just looks like the usual duck. He knows he can't beat Hrgovic, so he's out. Money doesn't even come into it.
given how much Triller have been overpaying fighters, I’d say yeah, it’s probably about money this time.

If you believe that, then fair enough. Maybe we'll have it revealed how much he's actually getting like the others did on here. we'll have to wait and see.

How many times can he say "you know" in an interview? Lol. Might be getting more money but this is an absolutely dog **** fight and I'm not sure what other opponents Triller will be able to get for Hunter

IBF eliminator is useless now. Joshua just fought last IBF mandatory. Next IBF mandatory will be in line for Joshua/Fury probably in 2023.

But it's going to be hard to justify if all he's doing is fighting stiffs and running from the meaningful competition.

Trilla has been paying fighters that are actually worth having on their platform. Hunter doesn't have that reason. But who doesn't make a claim that they're getting paid more money than they actually are when it comers to ducking a fight? Of course they're going to lie. They don't want people seeing them for the coward they are. But their abilities to lie are woeful. Any moron can see through it all. They contradict themselves like it's going out of fashion. The hypocrisy is blinding. As a boxing fan, you shouldn't be so willing to buy it all the time. Otherwise, what's the point. We might as well shut the sport down now and have done with it. It cannot survive like this.

obviously i want to see the Hrgovic fight. I’m not paying for no Triller PPV. He hasn’t said what his purse will be but Triller purses are listed after the fights. Prograis was paid the most & even Redbach got paid more than what Hrgovic was going to get paid. Jake Paul obviously a youtube star got $665000. Cunningham got $150000 to beat MMA guy frank mir who got $350000. They are paying guys. Lopez vs that Australian they put up over 6 million for that fight. I’m sure Pascal & Jack will be making sizeable purses too. Hunter got dumped by DAZN so he went where he could get guaranteed money. He fought Usyk, Ustinov, Povetkin, Kuzmin & Bikole. He also fought notable journeymen Kiladze & Jerry Forrest. He is hardly a coward. I get it you don’t like him & you are a Hrgovic fan. Nothing wrong with that. I have been watching HW boxing for over 30 years so nothing surprises me anymore. I don’t get bent out of shape if fighters don’t fight who I want. I really don’t care that much. Sure i’d like to see the big fights made & i want to see contenders fight each other but when there is 4 world titles instead of one this is what we get. Mike wilson, Dinu, Lovejoy, Fujimoto, etc getting rankings for no reason. Until that part of the sport is cleaned up the lesser path of resistance will be taken… it sucks but it is what it is…

Hm, maybe can Hunter get in line for Dubois -Dinu winner?

Dubois is bigger fight than Hrgovic, for sure.

Yes, his previous promoters didn't exactly line his pockets or push him ahead in his career. Can't blame the guy for taking the $$$. He can always get back up the rankings with the right fights

Yep but I do hope Hrgovic gets a good fight for the eliminator.

It's not so much i'm a Hrgovic fan, just that i'm really getting bored with Americans in general ducking fights unless they're at a serious disadvantage. Anyone who is ready to go, and they're running. If they take the fight, the odds are they lose. That is what they're protecting. It's pure manipulation of the circumstances. They like to give the big un with all the talk while American fans call innocent fighters cowards because they threaten them and just trying to get fights with them. It's propaganda. That's wrong on so many levels.

I’m Canadian & my favourite fighters were Lennox Lewis, Andrew Golota, Francois Botha, James Toney, Neven Pajkic & my favourite now would probably be Arreola or Chisora. I like Fury too but man this is the second time he avoided a rematch he was contracted to take. That only holds up the division with court battles & more titles getting stripped. I don’t really care where a guy is from. I miss the 90s. There was the big 3 (Tyson, Holyfield & Lennox) & everyone else fought each other to get that big payday. In my era (Late 80s until now) that was by far the best times for me watching HW boxing. There were great fighters from all over & they all wanted to fight in the US when HW was thriving there. I miss those days. The sport is dying there. The cash cows are in Europe the last 20 years.
