I hope triller becomes a force in AMERICAN Boxing. I hope they actually take the time to do promotion and advertising and make an attempt to reach the American sports fan. Throwing money at fighters with no long term plan had already been proven fruitless. What is there to explain it's about the money. Seems clear he was screwed with a purse bid and was upset he was going to be paid very little. Triller came in and are paying him more. Wilson is ranked by the WBA and they have already ordered it as a WBA title Eliminator. According to his tweet below it's not just a one off fight it's a multi fight deal and he will still be in line for a title shot if he wins it will just be for a WBA title instead of the IBF.

When the time came to put his words to the test, he ran like a coward. Trilla have no real use for him. They are not paying him more than that, because it wouldn't make any sense to. It's called lying.

300k is too low for a HW fight of that caliber. DAZN overpays for garbage content over and over then underpays for a good HW match up.

Nobody else bid for the fight. What do you want them to do, pay out beyond what the fight is worth? If you can break down for me now everything a Hunter fight generates and justify your position, then fair enough. But if you can't...

Also, who really knows Hrgovic apart from some nerds on boxing forums? That’s why the purse was pretty low - Hrgovic has fought nobody except stiffs. Hunter probably looks at the fight and feels there’s no huge upside beating Hrgovic right now, only in the eyes of a tiny amount of people who care. And even worse if he loses to someone the public don’t really know.

he can probably just fight on Triller for more money and more exposure, because he’s not that well known himself.

not saying I like the decision, it robs us of a really good fight. It’s just the realities of business.
