Whiskey hamburgler sounds like he’s under the influence, he’d better hope that the ring Joshua lays him out in doesn’t get blown to smithereens before they fight. Hopefully they won’t be considered infidels because they eat sushi.

Fury’s still gotta cough up big dollars for Wilder, lawyers and more burgers. The Cheater ran after his open glove scandal turned him into a burglar and mentally deranged open cheat. In the ring, he’d better not tamper with his opened glove in front of the Princes security detail or his fans. Maybe he can ask Hatton to stand in as his body double when it’s time to flee....

Two, you are making an excuse for Wilder’s loss by blaming his weight. Ignoring that Fury beat Wilder the first time and destroyed him fair and square in the rematch.

Lastly, when Fury beats up AJ, are you going to come back here and find an excuse for AJ?
I'm still inclined to say the Ruiz defeat was a freak occurrence. Joshua not at his best, Ruiz is the condition of his life after back to back camps, Joshua trying too hard to provide a spectacular finish in the US. Then one punch from nowhere... never recovered.

Of course there's an argument that Ruiz finally realised his potential. Was simply a better fighter and proved it. But of course you'd then have to give credit to Joshua for a dominant win over him in the rematch.
Either way, the Joshua v Ruiz discussion is dead. Joshua went in as champion, came out as champion. Reputation slightly damaged, but undoubtedly learned from the loss.

That's funny. Boxing is a worldwide sport, and this fight especially will draw in even the casuals.

Loving all the "I told you so" comments from the Hearn fans. He's been saying he'll announce the fight 'next week' all year. It was initially being talked about taking place in June, now it's August, still no official announcement, Hearn's 'next week' still hasn't arrived yet people are in here with the 'I told you so.'

You didn't tell anyone ****, you've been wrong every single week this year, some of you were making threads to say it'll get announced immediately after AJ beats Pulev. If the fight ever gets signed, I don't think many people can act like they knew it'll unfold this way. Hearn's been hinting at announcing it since December, all his fans have believed every word he's said, yet everyone's an 'idiot' for questioning why he's been saying he'll announce it 'next week' for 6 months.

Then you have the arbitration crew with their 'well, if the fight's made then Fury must've agreed to pay Wilder millions.'

Finally, you have the 'ducks'. 'Fury doesn't want it but but but.....' and 'AJ doesn't want it but but but..'

Can everyone admit that they have no clue what's going on, they know less than Frank Warren regardless of how many times they say he's not involved, everyone is sticking to whatever narrative makes them feel safe but haven't the slightest clue. Even after this people are unsure but in here with their amended narratives to make it sound like this is what they've been telling us the whole time. **** off, bunch of clowns.

It was not that bad of a defeat, even in a loss? Joshua did keep on getting up and trying'.

That is the positive you can take from that fight. The going got tough, he was being beaten up 'But he kept on trying'.

Reputation only gets damaged when, fighters get blasted out early and have zero success.

Joshua has success vs Ruiz I.

What was more concerning, was his reaction to the defeat and how he has carried it with him since 'Although he is recovering'.

You mean like all those on here that were saying that Hearn and AJ were just pretending to try and make the fight, and made a crap offer that Fury would turn down?

You're talking about a country that ignores global sports if an event doesn't have a Yank in it, and then has a domestic sport that they call the World Series.

But it's the rest of us who need to understand how things work.
