Two things to deduce from this verbal diarrhea;
One, AJ getting destroyed by a pudgy Ruiz either didn’t happen or was a fluke or AJ somehow lost his “multi dimensional” talent.
Two, you are making an excuse for Wilder’s loss by blaming his weight. Ignoring that Fury beat Wilder the first time and destroyed him fair and square in the rematch.

Lastly, when Fury beats up AJ, are you going to come back here and find an excuse for AJ?

I'm still inclined to say the Ruiz defeat was a freak occurrence. Joshua not at his best, Ruiz is the condition of his life after back to back camps, Joshua trying too hard to provide a spectacular finish in the US. Then one punch from nowhere... never recovered.

Of course there's an argument that Ruiz finally realised his potential. Was simply a better fighter and proved it. But of course you'd then have to give credit to Joshua for a dominant win over him in the rematch.
Either way, the Joshua v Ruiz discussion is dead. Joshua went in as champion, came out as champion. Reputation slightly damaged, but undoubtedly learned from the loss.

Loving all the "I told you so" comments from the Hearn fans. He's been saying he'll announce the fight 'next week' all year. It was initially being talked about taking place in June, now it's August, still no official announcement, Hearn's 'next week' still hasn't arrived yet people are in here with the 'I told you so.'

You didn't tell anyone ****, you've been wrong every single week this year, some of you were making threads to say it'll get announced immediately after AJ beats Pulev. If the fight ever gets signed, I don't think many people can act like they knew it'll unfold this way. Hearn's been hinting at announcing it since December, all his fans have believed every word he's said, yet everyone's an 'idiot' for questioning why he's been saying he'll announce it 'next week' for 6 months.

Then you have the arbitration crew with their 'well, if the fight's made then Fury must've agreed to pay Wilder millions.'

It was not that bad of a defeat, even in a loss? Joshua did keep on getting up and trying'.

That is the positive you can take from that fight. The going got tough, he was being beaten up 'But he kept on trying'.

You're talking about a country that ignores global sports if an event doesn't have a Yank in it, and then has a domestic sport that they call the World Series.
