It's kinda crazy and sad how people expect the biggest fights not to happen these days.

It could be one sided, I wouldn’t rule it out. I believe Fury has the levels and ability to beat AJ comfortably.
So, what are you trying to say? That Fury and AJ will be one-sided? That Fury would annihilate Joshua too? I doubt it. I surely do believe Wilder had a bad night and if Wilder can hit him more in a rematch, it would be more competitive and could even go the other way. Sure he outboxes Wilder and I said that in my post.
Fury is not some sort of unbeatable monster that you're trying to make him.
I believe Fury stops Joshua, just as I said Fury would beat Wlad and Wilder.
It’s boxing, anything can happen, I just believe Fury is the better overall fighter and will prove to be a level above when it matters.
We’ve all had wrong predictions, it’s boxing, so we will see. But in my opinion, a fully focused Fury that always turns up for the biggest fights is a cut above all the other current heavyweights and it’ll show in this one.Comment

Yes, people fantasize about fighters or just anyone failing at something 'So they can see people suffer' Joshua never gave his detractors that joy.
When I say the defeat damaged his reputation I don't mean in the typical BoxingScene "quit against a fat kid doe" way. I mean he suffered a loss and his reputation (and ranking) suffered.
To be honest, I like his response. Got straight back in there, didn't make excuses. He took his loss like a man. Then he developed his style and boxed a completely different way against Ruiz in the rematch. The ability to make adjustments is one of the big differences between a good boxer and a potentially great boxer.
I thought the Pulev fight was impressive. Less bodybuilder than before, but less cautious than against Ruiz. Ideally he'd have another fight or two but the same goes for Fury, who has been inactive and completely changed his style in his last fight to win a rematch after his first draw.
Joshua seemed to embrace the loss as a challenge 'Not doom and gloom'.
For me Joshua is still working through his trauma, but? He does seemed to be switching up on Fury, no more Mr Nice guy I sense.

Would you call Tarver’s KO of Roy a “freak occurrence”?
What about Marquez blasting Pacqiao out? Another freak occurrence?
What about Tyson’s destruction by Buster?
Joshua was making his debut in the US and wasn’t at his “best”? He’s a pro boxer getting paid millions and given ample time to train to be at his “best” and he failed to do that? Is that what you’re saying?
How is Joshua-Ruiz fight dead? Joshua got knocked out by a journeyman. It is a big deal and will stain his legacy. Especially after Fury beats him. I bet you’ll still find ways to defend that loss by saying Ruiz damaged Joshua hence the 2nd loss of his career.
You sound like Filipinos. They truly believe PAC has never lost. They have an excuse for every loss.
i think alot of people forgot that ruiz was a late replacement ...it was supposed to be jarrell miller i believe ? that adds to the over eagerness of joushas performance a bit ..but i also get what youre saying 100 percent

Is that what I'm saying? Yes, it's exactly what I said. I think he dropped his standards and it coincided with Ruiz lifting his due to the circumstances behind the fight. And I think Joshua was so desperate to blast Ruiz out because Wilder had just spectacularly knocked out Brezeale. Most of that is putting the defeat on Joshua and not making any excuses for him, but giving reasons.
Joshua beats Ruiz 9 times out of 10. Which makes the loss a bit of a freak occurrence. These things will happen from time to time if you defend your belt against decent heavyweights and definitely if you don't maintain a high standard.
You called Ruiz a journeyman (I happen to think he's better than that) yet you don't believe the Joshua-Ruiz fight is done with? Joshua is a much better boxer than Ruiz. There's nothing left to prove there.
Of course the loss damaged AJ, but not to the extent you think. It didn't make him suddenly a poor boxer. The rematch showed that.
On Joshua v Fury, well we'll see. If the fight goes ahead, the winner will deserve every bit of credit. Let's just hope they fight and both turn up prepared.Comment

Lol touché. I’ll gladly eat crow on that. Mostly because I don’t really care.
Do you think Wilder actually wants this fight by September though? Feels like he wants some step aside money.
I’d respect Wilder for taking it next though. Willingly walking into an ass whipping he’s sure to take.Comment

That's funny. Boxing is a worldwide sport, and this fight especially will draw in even the casuals.
It would be interesting just to see the PPV #s here in the States for a Joshua and/or Fury or other prominent overseas fighter's event. I'll take a wild guess that your assumptions are way off. While not the #s of GB for a GB fighter... 'Nobody in America...' or 'ignores global sports if an event doesn't have a Yank in it' are ridiculous broad brush stroke comments. End of story.
