Yeah he’s a far better fighter now. He has that patience and ring IQ that comes with years of elite level experience. I’m not a fan of the guy personally but I have to admit I think he’s clearly the #1 P4P guy in the sport atm.

Canelo does have to beat Andrade or Charlo to be an all time great. Has nothing to do with their skin color, it's because they are the most talented fighters around his weight.

Andrade and Charlo have been denied the opportunity for this fight for too long. They are incredible talents but American fans and promoters don't support them.

I find it amazing how even the President of the United States acknowledges now that systemic racism is everywhere in our society. Except thick skulled boxing fans can't acknowledge this.

Agreed he won't fight them either of them though. Andrade is levels above BJS in terms of skill & defense & Charlo has dynamite in both hands & actually fights back. If he beats Plant (which I believe he will) then I see him fighting "mandatories" for a little while. AlvaRoid was #1 on my P4P list after Callum, so he gets respect from me regardless.

Charlo and Andrade get held back because of systemic racism in boxing. How come HBO promotes GGG to be this big superstar, despite beating nobodies, but not Andrade and Charlo? That got him the Canelo fight. Same with Sergey Kovalev. And all of these guys. Canelo has privilege because he has the benefit of being the A side, even before he fought anybody with a pulse. When he fought Trout he had 50,000 screaming fans all there cheering for him despite him never beaten ANYONE. But nobody supports Andrade or Charlo. This is just the reality of being an African American boxer, people do not support you.

Again, the president of the United States will admit this, how come you can't?
