Where did this narrative that Usyk was some top tier heavyweight come from

He didn't even look good against a past prime chisora. Someone please explain. He "cleaned" the cruiser division when it was by far its weakest in forever. He has some skills but he's a eurobum hypejob just like loma.

Definitely not the weakest Crusierweight era.

Usyk’s a proven top fighters, he hasn’t proved himself yet at Heavyweight.

People are going off his Crusierweight success.

Well, he's arguably the GOAT cruiserweight.

      It comes with territory.

Because he did well at CW people think he'll automatically do well at HW. He'd dance around the HW's and they wouldn't lay a glove on him. Doesn't work like that. CW has always been a weak division, probably the worst in the sport. If you watch the last CW (Haye) to do alright at HW you'll see Usyk is not on that level. Seriously watch Haye-Chisora, Haye was just better at everything.

He is like the modern Byrd of this HW era, he won't be able to beat fat Andy, AJ, Fury, and will be stopped by Wilder after out boxing him for 8-10 rds.

Haye took more clean shots in 5 rounds against Chisora than Usyk took in 12.

The only thing Haye had over Usyk was power. Usyk has a better chin, better defence, higher workrate and far more stamina than Haye.

It's hard to even imagine Usyk getting KTFO by a UK domestic level CW like Carl Thompson.

              Absolute nonsense.

This fight shows Haye has better defence, attack, speed, reflexes, power. Just superior. That right hand that lands on Usyk all fight for Chisora? Too slow for Haye.

If Haye had problems getting passed a big guy with a decent jab (Wlad), what chance has Usyk got? You think he's just going to walk through the jab and straight rights?

Wlad couldn't lay a glove on Usyk in sparring, which is why he only sparred him once, and he wouldn't have touched him in a fight either.

If you think triangle theory is the way to compare fighters - Haye got KTFO twice by Bellew, who got KTFO himself by Usyk.

But I prefer to go by resume and accomplishments. Usyk is obviously levels above Haye. He was world and Olympic champion as an amateur. As a pro he literally cleaned out a cruiserweight division that was much more competitive than it was in Hayes's day.

Ok, Haye won a world title at HW ... against Valuev, one of the poorest world HW champions in the history of the division.

Haye met force with force, and stopped Chisora's momentum.

Very few heavyweights opt to meet Chisora head on 'But that is exactly what David Haye did etc'

Even though Haye met Chisora head on, he was hit less than Usyk.

David Haye was a better cruiser weight and heavyweight than Usyk.

Usyk basically was on the back foot all night vs Chisora, if Haye wanted to? He could of fought that same fight, but instead in implemented a area of his game that Uysk does not have at heavyweight.

Usyk does not hit hard enough, and can't fight on the inside to a high level.

I would give a fully prepared David Price a chance at beating Usyk 'I admire his efforts at heavyweight, but I really don't rate him highly'.

Note: If Usyk is level's above Haye, he should really be stopping Derek Chisora 'Who lets be honest, was better when Haye fought him'. There was no signs of Chisora getting tired against Haye, still? Haye did not back up, and canceled out his momentum. David Haye at 210-215 pounds, done something that super-heavyweights have failed to do vs Chisora 'Only really Whyte & Haye have met Chisora head on and canceled him out'.

Oh so now you want to mention old injured Haye. You know why? Because even you know he doesn't match up to prime Haye. CW is garbage, always has been. Haye beat one of the best CW's ever. That win is better than Usyks pro career.

Wlad would have destroyed Usyk. FFS. You're lying to yourself. Joshua is going to beat 2 of yor favourite fighters soon. If Usyk doesn't get beat by slow arse joyce first.
