Comments Thread For: Fury: Joshua Has To Beat Me and Wilder To Be Best of This Era

They ALL need to fight! If not then STFU about trying to label any of them "GREAT" same goes for Spence and Crawford at 147
Fury is the closest to Greatness out of all of them because with the AJ fight and especially if he wins he would've fought Wlad, Wilder and AJ...also that Otto Wallin win looking better and better now

It's amusing and embarrassing seeing people claim this when even daddy Hearn said he wouldn't want Joshus in the ring with Wilder until 2020.
Everyone and their dog knows Wilder KOs Joshua. Deep down they've always known it. Joshua doesnt have the heart. That much is obvious. He would have to completely dominate Wilder to get him out of there. The moment he lands a solid right hell get flustered and it will unravel from there. In Joshua is the same thing I see in guys like Dubois, they completely crumble when their plan A falls apart and they're too robotic and engineered as fighters to come up with a plan B or rely on instinct.
Wilder is a rude, arrogant, tough talking, scary black man so of course a lot of boxing fans will want him out of there. But Fury is right, Wilder isn't a guy you can go in there second guessing yourself against.

Fury is so bitter he's now saying beating him means nothing. Haha. Looks like it's all dawning on him that AJ is finally going to get his hands on him. I can't wait. Although there is still time for Fury to come up with something.
Why would a win over a "Fighter" who hasn't beaten a single good world class fighter in nearly 50 fights mean anything in terms of era? Wilder never has, nor ever will be apart of it. He and Ortiz have their own thing going on where they refuse to fight anyone worth a damn but claim they're a somebody. They're not. They had their chance but ran like the cowards they are. AJ deserves to get his hands on the coward Wilder to bring justice for the years of slander on his name. But if Wilder still runs, then it's no biggie. He never meant anything anyway. It was nothing but hype. He was a creation without substance. A delusional and creepy coward there to laugh at and mock. Not a world class fighter.

He beat Mcdermott btw, just not as wide as what the score was.
How many years had AJ had in boxing by the time he fought Ruiz? And how many years by the time Fury fought McDermott?
AJ had something wrong with him BEFORE the Ruiz fight. Then he went and made a huge mistake by standing square on and swinging with all his weight with hooks against a smaller fighter with faster hands. That's a big no no with someone with his height and reach. Then he had his ear drum burst so he was all over the place for the rest of the fight. Athletes can make mistakes. But it's important to correct them. Which he did by dominating the rematch. Whereas Fury never lost against McDermott due to a moment of madness. So there's a massive difference there.

Tyson never beat John McDermott honestly.
But anyways, greatest of this awful crop of HW's is really nothing to brag about, I cant remember any ATG being battered by a slob like McDermott, even as novice prospects, simply embarrassing.

Wilder had a massive ego... he really 100% believed he was the best and couldnt be beat... and that his right hand would ALWAYS bail him out. The proof of this is the constant nonsense hes spewed since that loss.

Change the names, and you've got the truth. You've got it back to front. The Wilder game is up. EVERYONE knows he's a fraud who ducked for years. It even came out of Wilder's mouth that he ducked AJ. So keep on embarrassing yourself if you want like your coward does, but it won't change reality no matter how deranged and deluded you creatures are.greeneye99 likes this.

I wouldn't back Douglas to beat Dave Allen. I know Mike Tyson looked great beating up D-level boxers, and Light heavyweights, but every time he stepped up he folded like a deck chair. Lewis (different class) Holyfield (different class) Douglas (only needed a half-decent jab to box Mike's head off) Danny Williams (Harder puncher) Kevin Mcbride ("Bigger, stronger man")
Dave Allen, a complete no mark, beats the version of Douglas that beat Mike Tyson? Shut up you absolute prat. Douglas beat many fighters who would slaughter Dave. Please don't forget to take your medicine again. It's disturbing.
