So the answer is nobody knows.
this, the everyone always looks back at their “era” (which is usually depending on your age group) and determines that was the strongest. In reality nobody really knows and will never know.

It may be but it was very deep. There are really only a few HWs today that would have been on Tuesday Night Fights undercards. Bert Cooper would run rough shod over most of the guys fighting today. Todays HW division is bereft of talent.

I'm lol'ing, but in agreement. For people that don't know, Cooper finished 35-25. This generation of HW's are very low level.

Overrated how??? Its HW. Almost every era of HW's suck & got lil competition.

Its basically the 70's, than the 90's & all the other eras are tied for 3rd or last, depending on how you wanna look at it, to most folks.

How many of the fighters who fought in the '90s are Hall of Famers?

How many of today's crop will make it in? It's probably to early to tell yet but that seems like a good way to compare the eras.

He’d be competitive with most guys but he wouldn’t be able to cope against guys like Lennox, Holyfield, Tyson, Bowe etc. Even a guy like Tua would be a nightmare for him
