No it wouldn't have. It was delayed to October because of his injury and then December 19th because of the pandemic. Then ESPN delayed it further to February of this year. Then Fury said he was tired of waiting and wanted a tune-up on December 5th. This is when Wilder said no, honor the contract, and forced mediation. They're now in arbitration and it can last for 6 months.Comment

A highly trained athlete knows how his body functions. Wilder knew something was off and believed that his water may have been spiked. Even in that state and with the unnatural damage he sustained, he was able to fight back until the end.
He knows that in a fair fight, he will knock Fury's head off. And Fury's actions suggest he knows too...Comment

That’s a lie , arbitration wasn’t going on long and the contract has just been finalized where both sides have finally ironed out whatever on each side of any disputes which can take months if you really were in the business you’d know this.
Like I said arbitration can’t stop the fight , in fact Fury can just walk away from it and go to court where the result of that would be just a minor nuisance because no judge is going to stop anyone from making a living ,there is going to be some type of stature of limitations on the entire situation and there it is .
A contract can be signed because Arbitration is not court ,I’m not sure you know this still,? The announcement may be put on hold in the event it goes to court where again that won’t stop the fight it would just be another few weeks to push it out of the way . There’s nothing to stop Arum from announcement of the fight except Fury signing on . The arbitration process couldn’t do anything about a fight announcement ,there would be zero penalties if that happened in a non binding arbitration case . Correct. It would have happened in June but Wilder delayed it by claiming he was injured. (Again)
Wilder and Finkel then disappeared completely until the had deadline expired. Wilder never really wanted another pasting from Fury. Activating the rematch clause was just a face saving exercise. It's over. We all know who the better man is. Forget it and move onComment

There is plenty of credible evidence that the padding in the gloves were manipulated. It is a known issue with the horsehair gloves Fury used. You have video evidence and evidence from the doctor's analysis. Wilder explained he also felt weak before entering the ring, so weak that his costume felt heavy. That was twisted by the mainstream media to report that the costume made him feel weak. Who knows what the doctor's found post-fight to support his allegations.Comment
