He is nowhere near the draw Joshua is but before the Fury fights he was still making a couple million a fight. I wouldn’t say he was never a draw. Might not have sold out arenas but he was doing alright. Putting 8000-10000 people in an arena is not bad. Wilder is no Tyson, Bowe or Holyfield so he wasn’t selling out arenas like them. Kownacki draws a good Polish crowd in New Jersey but I don’t think any HW fight in the US sells out anymore unless it is Wilder/Fury or Joshua coming back MSG or Vegas.

This shows you just how influential Edward Hearn is to his hearniac minions. The same old tired rhetoric of wilder doesn’t make money, wilder doesn’t have an audience, etc etc. Even though wilder and fury produced the highest gate in heavyweight history, o matter that wilder always did high ratings on showtime and FOX, no matter that his PPVs sold....you can look at his winnings on Forbes and see that he’s cleared over $40m. Whyte here is just proving he’s a puppet for EdwardComment

That’s all it is, an intense ultranationalist response. Wilder was seen as a threat to Joshua, whey, fury etc and Edward Hearn spent the better part of two years trying to control wilder and wilder didn’t let it happen. Hearn wanted to use wilder to increase dayzin subscriptions and wilder didn’t do his bidding so Hearn spun of the casual drunkard chav base to troll wilder online. There’s no reasoning with zealotryyeah wilder wasnt a draw...thats why DAZN apparently wanted to do 100+ mil in business with him right? thats why wilder made like 76 mil in 3 fights lol....because hes not a "draw"
i imagine even hardcore brit wilder detractors are even getting sick of listening to whyte talk about wilder...i know i am...starting to think this guy just wants his chance to lick wilders neckComment

Another crazy talk from Whyte, I can understand his bitterness towards Wilder for being ducked by him but that doesn’t mean he means nothing now, he had the belt and lost it, you never had any belt and lost your last fight. A fight between these two is a must if they can both register a win next.Comment

Peanut head was starched by Povetkin yet continues to run his trap. If he is not focused, the rematch might end the same way.Comment

Wilder would be a very dangerous fight for Whyte.
For what reward? Would people give him any credit for beating a guy that doesn't have a belt, was never really proven as an elite fighter, and has been absolutely humiliated in and out of the ring over the last 12 months.
If I were Whyte I'd see much better pathways to big fights.Comment
