Proof? Look at the left image in my sig. Herol Graham, a guy with an awesome chin who has never been KO'd, is coming in with all his leverage with a full power hook. But right as the weight gets to his mid section, he gets smashed by Jackson, doubling the damage of the punch, and is why he stayed out for five minutes after that punch landed.Last edited by Slipx; 02-27-2005, 11:03 PM.

out on your feet like cotto was is another. just look at him after the punch lands, he is so close to being KO'd, and he's been wobbled before too, (but not like that)

Originally posted by rizno he did not walk right thru them, he got KD 3 times and lost.
it was hard to see but watch the fight 6 times like I have and you'll catch it
as for the second knockdown, corely's knee didnt touch the canvas,he was holding the ropes as well. it wasnt even a real knockdown...
and the third time his knee touched the canvas wasnt from a punch,it was because gravity forced him down from ducking..he took a knee, he was not KD legitimately at all in that entire fight..

SEVERAL agree with you! Anybody that watches the fight can plainly see that the punch that hurt him was to the temple (no boxer is immune to those!), and all the ones that landed on his chin he just walked right thru.
He should have used much better defense, but the crowd had him all pumped up. I dont expect him to fight that dangerously next time..not at all.

Hahaha, you guys are so hard on the up coming young boxers.Based on many oppinions it seems that all top 140 pounders have weak chin or beard, first Cotto last Saturday,Gatti have been KD many times and even worst,Floyd was hurt against Chop,Zoo was badly beaten by Phillips and kd many times even twice in the first round, hatton was down in the first round and hurt several times,Mitchell anyone knows what happened,I don't know about harris though. So all top 140 pounders are weak suckers then?????????

mayb it was not a legit KD's for any of them, but he did go down, and it did count. in the first round when he got KD, there was no complain by corely. and if u hav to watch it six times dont expect the ref to get it right on the first time. and gravity forced him down?? he went down and thats his fault. u seem to be defending corely than corely himself. he said i was in trouble so i took a knee
