The Ring belt is much much more significant compared to the abc belts like wbc, ibo, wba, ibf etc etc......

well now the WBO might have a new belt jic pac win. the diamond belt.

You do realize, a true welterweight like Cotto (by all rights) should
KTFO of the much lighter Pacquiao, in the early rounds, so there should be
no "judges' decision" bull**** for you to worry about.

How many pounds of weight advantage will Miguel have over Manny, on
fight night and in the ring? If Cotto outweighs Pac by 10-15, maybe 20 lbs, and still can't put the little runt away, he should hide in shame.

        h.
i think this is the 4th or 5th time i say this:

Cotto already said that he will gain 8-10max

7 weight champ is bollox. so is 6 weights. only IBF WBA WBC or WBO titles count as far as several weight champion is concerned. IBO doesnt count as its not a major title. Ring magazine doesnt count either altho its probably the best belt to have. Manny is the former WBC Lightweight world champion, WBC Super Featherweight world champion, IBF Super Bantamweight world champion, and WBC Flyweight world champion. so he has actually won 4 legit world titles in 4 weights. the rest simply doesnt count in the sense to say your a champion of the weight as you have to win a major championship to say that.

Technically, Pacquiao is not 6 division champ. But guess who is, without counting IBO belt(minor)? Deal with it!

Is the ring magazine a world title? no.

                  135 wbc
                  140 ibo

so thats 4 major titles(wbc, wbo, wba, ibf) and 2 minor titles(ring, ibo)

                  4 major titles + 2 minor titles = 6 titles

                  in how many divisions? 6
let me exppain this **** again!!!!!!

Lineal titles= Division Champion. Pacquiao have 4 off those 112,126,130,140

World titles = Alphabet belts won in a sanctioned fight. Pacquiao have for of those 112-WBC, 122-IBF, 130-WBC, 135-WBC

The ring title is not a valid title although its the only one who makes sense most of the time and the IBO is not a major organization so his title is not a valid one.

So pacquiao is a 4 division title holder and 4 divsion champion, being a lineal champion dont make you a world title holder or viceversa.

So pacquiao is a 4 divsion Champion and a 4 divsion title holder.

Agianst Cotto he is aiming at his 5th division world title.

the Ring Magazine championship is a Legitimate World championship. unlike the ABC belts, there is ONLY ONE Ring champion......

whoever holds the ring championship is considered THE Champ for that division......

the TS is asking regarding the legitimacy of pac's 6 division championship.....considering that the Ring champ is the lineal champ, Pac is a 6 division champion......

following your argument that being division champ = lineal champ, then pac was never a champ in the lightweight division?? cause he didnt beat the lineal champ at 135 but he got the wbc belt right? and cotto is not the lineal champ at 147, so if i follow your argument then pac isnt even aiming in getting his 5th division title(according to you)
