His most important, greatest, most memorable and most significant win was against Barrera back in 2003. At that time Marco was the featherweight lineal Champ.......it was the fight that catapulted Pacquiao to stardom. It was a championship fight more IMPORTANT than any other belted fight in the featherweights.

No he beat Morales in a grudge fight.
So therefore [Diaz]he won that Lightweight Title against Morales fair and square.
So Pacquiao won a fair WBC Lightweight Champion. David Diaz.

I'm telling you that Diaz was a good champion whose beaten some good opponents like Santa Cruz(he beat Casamayor before JMM),Erik Morales in a close fight and Zab in the amateurs(I know it's the amateurs but he still beat Zab).
He also gave Kendall Holt Holt a tough fight and knocked him down.

David Diaz is garbage who got a gift over a shot Erik Morales.
juan diaz was the most credible 135 lber.

casamayor was semi shot and got a gift decision over cruz.

david diaz was a paper champ.

His featherweight win over Barrera was probably his most significant one. Belt or no belt, Barrera was clearly the man.

Exactly. He wants to make a claim that theres a difference that lineal and alphabet belts are 2 different things so that Pacquiao's wins against "the man" in certain divisions shouldnt count towards his belt count. Ignoring the fact that they were the recognized champion at their division.

But if you go by that same logic he presented...Cotto never beat a world champion. Alphabet or otherwise. He's only won vacant belts.
