who here has fought some streetfights and how did it go?

In my younger days I got into a couple with all different ethnicities here in NY!! I can honestly say that the biggest punks were the Puerto Rican kids.. They are always loud and talked a big game but never backed their **** up.. They were tough in groups of people that's it.. Italians, Mexican, and black kids were tough as nails!

Speaking of Street Fights my friend is in the Israeli Army and he said the stuff they learned is called Krav Maga(Something like that forgive the mispelling). My friend is into martial arts and he said by far this stuff is much better suited for the streets than any other form.. Have you guys ever heard of Krav Maga?

Hello, yes I've heard of Krav Maga and it's pretty much almost all of the same things I've learned in the Judo, Jujitsu, self-defense classes that I've been in. My friend who's in the US Army who just got promoted to head of hand-to-hand combat (in less than a year) told me it's pretty much the same things they learn and do in the Army. I think it's just that every cultural ethnicity wants to have some sort of "martial art" to calle their own. But it's pretty true...a lot of cultures had at least one form of self-defense they used ages ago.

Only problem with Tyson are his weak wrists and knuckles. Didn't he injure them one time in a bar fight?

I read in article on Hopkins that said he used to extort other kids in his high school and beat them up if they messed with him.

Tszyu has done a lot of wrestling which would help. Most top boxers would try to avoid them though.
I read that Tszyu has had only 2 street fights, both in Russia. He didn't start either, and both had a total of 2 punches thrown.
