Actually, even though I love Williams (no ****), I thought street bully's comment was funny too. The point was that in a previous post champ had said that Paul doesn't have many fans. street bully said yes he does, because he gets a lot of local press coverage in SC. And what was funny to me is, what's the big deal about getting local press coverage in SC? The big draws get coverage everywhere. I think that's what champ found funny as well. I agree that champ seems to badly under-rate the guy as a fighter, but you can't deny that he's not much of a draw yet. I think that might change if he beats Pavlik though.

I know Paul can hurt him, Pavlik was on rubber against McCart but a slug fest is the wrong way to go.

Pavlik is not the huge puncher everyone makes him out to be. Big deal he knocked out Miranda and Taylor. So has a few other people.

He's in trouble I'll tell you that, he's losing my TKO or WIDE UD.

I was ok with Pavlik losing to this guy,but after his manager is saying they are taking the easiest fight, sounds kinda disappointing.
As far as Pavlik losing,it may happen, but not by ko.I'm not counting Pavlik out yet-if he can step back from the barrage of punches that Williams throws,Pavlik can throw his right hand.Pavlik has been in against bigger, stronger guys than Paul Williams, but he hasn't been in against someone with the same blurring hand speed.
Pavlik can win this, but he has to fight smart-which is something that Jack Loew may not be able to teach him.I will not be surprised either way it goes.

Paul Williams has all the tools to beat Kelly Pavlik. I think
people are focusing too much on Pavlik's power like he is a
crazy devastating puncher but in all actuality he is not. The
same hype about his power was the same hype Cintron
and Cotto had and look what happened to them when they
went against a guy who power didn't matter anymore, they
got beat down. Same what Mosley did to Margarito. Power
is an important part of the equation but if you can't get off
then how can it be effective? All Paul has to do is neutralize
his power and he beats Pavlik easy like Bhop did. Not comparing
the two but Williams is a skillful fighter as well.
