lol. is somebody a bit pissed? karma? who gives a fcuk about karma? i clearly know more about boxing than you. but i aint here to say i know more than you, im here pointing out the rediculous ****e you are talking about. hence the reason everybody in this forum disagrees with the pish comin out of your mouth. you were waffling on about khan and hatton not being a big fight. when was the last time you came to britain seen as tho u know everything ?Comment

Dude, your an idiot.
You can apply that crap to anything. I could just say: without Leonard and Hearns the 80s wouldn't have been great. Without Ali and Frazier where was boxing back in the 60s/70s?
Where would the late 90s and noughties been without DLH? There are always big stars in boxing, there always have been, there are now and there always will be.
Face it - The Klitschko's are MASSIVE stars in Germany (a wealthy country with a population of 90 million) and Ukranine as well as very popular all over Europe.
Boxing is alive, kicking and will never die. Just because you can't bet on a paper title fight between two minor name boxers in Vegas doesn't make it dying. GTFO with that ****.Comment

Yeah, "UFC" fights. What about other small companies like WEC, or cage combat or **** like that. "UFC" is commercialized which is why it'd get more publicity. Just because it's a world champsionship event, doesn't mean it's big time for enough outside people (bookie) to get involved.
I could almost swear that if the boxing world put in as much advertising and publicity and commercialism as UFC did specifically, it would sky rocket. But i think that there's way more greed in boxing.
Anyways, i wasn't impressed at all in last weekend's showing. So it's a good thing you didn't bet.Comment

The problem with this is that there was a line posted on online sportsbooks so it was clearly big enough for bookies to be involved.Yeah, "UFC" fights. .
In fact, British posters could have bet the fight easily through bet365.com yet Americans couldn't bet the fight in Las Vegas 4 hours from where it occurred.Comment

It's quite simple really. If I talk boxing with your average Joe on the street they immediately turn the conversation to Chuck Liddell, Brock Lesnar or Rampage Jackson. What don't you understand about that statement?
They know what boxing is, but know nothing of the competitors and are much more well informed about MMA.
Also, there are several bars in my area that regularly televise UFC cards for 100's of people. None of them, under any cicrumstance, show a PPV boxing match.Comment

and this is your conclusion to why boxing is dying? The problem with this is that there was a line posted on online sportsbooks so it was clearly big enough for bookies to be involved.
