I hate UFC and am a boxing fan but if you can't bet on World Championship Boxing matches in Las Vegas that is a serious problem for the sport.

I'll tell you how many people know what MMA is. Alot more than boxing pretty much everywhere I go.

Boxing isn't the worldwide attraction you are making it out to be. When was the last time Pac fought in the Phillipines? He fights in the USA every single time. How much money are dirt poor Pinoys contributing to the infrastructure of the sport? None.

Boxing in Germany will wither away when the Klitschkos are done as well, there isn't a single decent German fighter and the fans will tire of non stop imports passed off as Krauts at some point.

Oh, and boxing booming in the UK is funny. Really helps to explain why all their TV networks are giving up on it.
People such as yourself have been saying that boxing has been dying for, literally, decades. Yet it's still alive and kicking. Like clockwork, every ten years or so some fighter comes out that transcends the sport and brings it back from the 'dead' as people like to say. Right now I believe we are going through a golden age in boxing. It's never been as popular and the biggest draw is a little Phillipino kid who start as a junior flyweight.

Boxing ain't going anywhere for a long, long, time.

My point is that people can't go on saying "boxing is fine, don't worry" when there are less good fights, less money to go around and less people tuning in to watch.

If boxing isn't careful it will end up like American Car companies who never felt a serious threat from their foreign competition until it was much too late.
well but GM, Ford and Chrysler never went down. It not about foreign competition but mostly about changing there way of doing business.

Boxing could create some drama similar to WWE but that will only make it look like it trying to imposter in front of MMA which already doing that.

Another boxing could go for WBO, WBC, IBF and WBA alliance and make unit for one world title which might not happen. But that also wont guarntee success.

and having PPV reduced is also good idea so people could tune.

another idea is to add some young people into the table with the people who comment of the fight. otherwise if some of the old guy go away or retire it could be very hard for sudden change.

Boxing is a sport and usally sport down disappear. example there is these brass fishing comptition or golf even if people dont tune much and is borning still it there to stay.

Ever have any trouble finding a sportsbook to take your NFL, MLB, NBA or NHL bets?

A reckon a few of them are mad they spent $2500 on room, food, ******** and plane tickets to come to the USA to see Ricky get bitchslapped inside of 5 minutes.

I personally wouldn't want to throw another $200 bucks away after that.

yes because you are fickle and show no loyalty to anything. so your argument why they wouldnt turn out in force in london is because they spent a load of money having a great time in vegas but ricky lost so they will not drive 2hours to see him again. LMAO
