I'm getting so sick of hearing about this fight I could puke. Seriously. Why can't we just focus on a fight that's already done like Mayweather-Marquez? I know it may not be as crowd pleasing to some people. But at least it's between two guys that want to fight and not waste our time.

Mayweather/Marquez will probably have more buys than Cotto/Pacquaio and definitely be a more interesting fight. Mayweather will make more money than both Cotto and Pacquaio combined in their fights.

Honestly..if Cotto was in Pacquiao's position and vice versa..and he was making these kind of demands..the Pinoys would be having all kinds of ***** FITS talkin about how much a ***** Cotto is for making Pacquiao weigh in less..take a 35% split and put his belt that he won at the DIVISION LIMIT on the line..

If Manny wants to fight for the welterwieght title then the FULL welterweight limit should be enforced. Regardless if 145 is at welterweight so is 147 and a fighter should be alloted the full span of the weight limit to defend his title. Why would you ask the campion to give up those two pounds that are in the welterweight limit yet ask for the title to be on the line?

arum, for the sake of boxing fans, should pay the sanction fee, if cotto is unwilling to pay for that. this is how i size up the situation. cotto is afraid to pay for the sanction fee because he knew that pacquiao is not an easy opponent for him anyway. just imagine paying 400t dollars and still lose that belt.

bob arum should pay the sanction fee himself because he stand to get the bulk of the money!
