Oscar is an ATG because of the titles in 6 divisions and because he fought everybody. He beat some pretty big names in his career and acquitted himself well in most his losses. And you cannot just dismiss his being the biggest PPV draw ever.

Almost every major fight?? His loses have been against HOF/ATGs....maybe if he had those losses to scrubs then I would understand, but that's not the case. He has BEATEN 17 WORLD CHAMPIONS.

Chicano, do you not grow tired of defending Oscar on here? I gave the game up a long time ago. The man is an ATG, end of story. The haters will always hate, its best just to let them be and move on in my book. Oscar and his career have been thoroughly discussed, everyone has put forth their views and made their judgements.

You can win belts, but that doesn't mean you are an ATG. There are many fighters than win belts, and still not considered good fighters. Whitaker and Quartey were good opponents (even though he barely beat Quartey), but Chavez was an old man, and Vargas was not a good fighter.
