Oscar de la What? He shouldn't be an ATG...

Think about it...? He lost to Tito, Mosley (twice), May, Hopkins and Pac. All top competitors at the time! The only wins I give him is Quartey, Whitaker, and maybe Rivera and Chavez.

Sorry everyone else he fought where B class or less fighters.

I think the reason he got so far was cause of his somewhat so called good looks, and because he beat past there prime fighters. Hate if you want, but this guy is very overrated!!!!

He clearly was robbed with Tito and beat Mosley once.

The way he shut out Camacho was also impressive.

    Vargas win is also impressive.

H is in the top 100 or borderline. He fought everybody.

He didn't win against Ike, Whitaker and Strum. However, he did beat Tito/ SSM (2nd fight). I wouldn't call him an ATG, no way.

de la hoyas resume is stacked, 6 weight champion, he fought everyone win or loose, thats atg. the only thing i dont like about him is that he sold out and ripped off alot of people in the paquiao fight to cash out for his retirement.

He wasn't robbed against Tito, he robbed himself. I'm sick of hearing that, man. Regardless of who you felt won it was actually a close fight. Even the Oscar cheering squad aka HBO announcers had it tight going into the 12th. Let it go. He lost and deservedly so.

                I disagree completely.

He calcualted the rounds and listened to his ****** corner that told him to run the last few rounds.

That was still a major robbery. He won the fight clearly.

If you look at intangibles, then the fights someone took ( Even though they lost some of them ) could rank them higher than the fights someone never took ( Even if thus said fighter won all their fights )

Everything seems to be a bit of a polemic with a lot of modern day fans.

He can calculate rounds all he wants, he wasn't hired to score the fight.

Furthermore, at no point did his corner tell him to run. They told him what they had been telling him the first seven rounds, "Don't get careless, just box." And since he was supposedly boxing so well before, why did he stop? Hilarious. Like his corner said, "run, run, run!"
