only in retrospect does manny's last three fights seem overrated due to the caliber of his opponents. ofcourse, you could argue that he is just that good, and that you can put anyone infront of him and he will destroy them. i won't doubt the man's ability. Im just not going to forget how close his fights with JMM were. Im not going to overlook the fact that he didnt take any other fights (risks) at LW or JWW after beating Diaz before his big paydays with DLH and Hatton. maybe i just enjoyed JMM's journey to the top of the LW division, and wanted to see Manny fight Campbell or Guzman. maybe i just want to see Pac vs JMM III already.Comment

Coming from an unbiased boxing fan, I have to say you are wrong. Larios was passed his prime he has just lost by TKO to Vazquez before fighting Manny and he had to move up to fight Manny, not so good, 1st Morales fight he was slipping, because he showed signs of slipping in his fight with Barrera in which he LOST right before his fight with Manny and he beat Manny.WOW you still are having problems with this. Why you cant understand is beyond me. Who said you cant win a fight past prime? LOL!!! The point is....A lot of PAc Haters have been saying Pacquiaos win came from PAST PRIME fighters. POINT MADE not one was PAST their prime. Understand now?
Struggled to make the 130lb weight limit so moves up and loses to Zaheer Rahim and when he wants to make the fight with Manny at 135...Roach didn't want any part of that so he went back down to 130, looked like a skeleton, was whopping Manny's ass up until he was beginning to have stamina issues and Manny took full advantaged and whooped Morales's ass.
The 3rd fight was COMPLETELY unnecessary because Morales went in with a record of 1-3 which is a SIGN of a passed prime fighter. Now to the Marquez fights, I thought Manny lost the first one and it was a tie on the 2nd, but can also see either guy winning by 1 point, so I give him full credit for beating Marquez, Diaz, no matter how you put it, he was the WORST champ at 135, in the undercard of Marquez vs Pac 2 he was getting his ass handed to him by Manny's featherfisted sparring partner, he was in his prime, but it was a B- opponent and I'm being generous.
Now to DLH, he choose to fight Manny instead of Margarito and decided to meet Manny at 147, now people say DLH was passed his prime (Roach himself choose DLH because he knew DLH couldn't "pull the trigger"), now DLH can still be competitive...in his WEIGHT CLASS which is 154, he goes in weight drained (not really Manny's fault) Manny takes advantage and beats the **** out of him, that what he gets for picking on a smaller man, ******* officially see Manny as a living God and believe he will beat ANYONE easily.
Now to Ricky Hatton, I knew Manny was going to win, but not that easily, people here say he was past his prime, I don't think he was, he just couldn't do **** at 147, but Hatton was undefeated at 140 and Manny made him look like an amateur and KO's his ass in 2 rounds, he gets full credit from me and a great win.
THIS is fact, if you don't think so, you are either a ******* whom will never accept the truth and the only truth they know is that Manny is a GOD and KO anyone or a biased fan.Comment

when a fighter is washed up like most people are saying about the fighters mentioned...they tend to go on a losing streak and you can tell they just aint got it anymore. These fighters mentioned in the thread were not showing those signs until after Manny.Coming from an unbiased boxing fan, I have to say you are wrong. Not all the fighters pac has faced were in their prime. This holds true for all fighters. However, Pac's will be under a microscope because he is on top right now. Same held true for PBF & RJJ before him. All 3 will be appreciated more once theyre gone.Comment
