So he hired a better more decorated trainer in Emanuel Steward because he was uninterested.

Naz if he wasn't in his prime, he was damn well close to it, and the sheer lopsidedness of that fight tells me all I need to know.

They could've fought 10 times and Barrera would've beat him 10 times. He had his number.

Apparently a fighters prime has to do with his age now.If you cannot recognize naseem hamed's decline in the last three years of his boxing career then you are a ****** simply put

naseem hamed peaked in 1996-1997 where he was at his absolute best, what followed was alot of dissapointing perroamnces against good opposition but dissapointing performances nonetheless

the man just happened to be incredibly talented with freakish power which saved him through that period

if you know nothing about the style that hamed used then your not even justified in discussing this topic,he used a very unique style that was implemented by one gym and one trainer whom he departed with in 1998

barerra ducked him for three years before stepping up,that's a fact,he was a coward with a weak chin

I'll buy Naz no longer bein at his peak in the MAB fight, but he was still in his prime. MAB just got his #.

Pretty shocked at the results to this poll to be honest,
alot of people on here think a prime naz takes a prime manny pacquiao??
That prime pacquiao who beat barerra who was nowhere near past it?
                  Very strange

They were both in there primes when they fought. Barrera of that time was better than in the late 90's. Hamed was KO'ing everyone they put in front of him.

barerra ducked hamed for three years like a true coward, both he and the other so called mexican warrior morales, they also both ducked Vuyani Bungu who hamed destroyed

these are not coincidences, hamed was past it by the time he fought the cheating, dirty, steroid abusing barerra

it's such a shame how cowards like barerra are respected.Him and fellow roids taker mosley disgrace this sport

and barerra who fought Pacquiao wasn't in his prime so just admit that you only know of barerra through his fights with morales and hamed

If barerra had grown a pair and fought hamed when hamed was calling him out,he would have gotten the paul ingle treatment

barerra had a glass jaw which was exposed by junior jones who also wanted nothing to do with hamed
