It would never have happened.barerra and morales ducked naseem hamed for over three years before barerra inally caught him at the right time
all barerra exposed to the casual viewer was that naseem hamed had seriously declined and anyone who knows a damn thing aout boxing will tell you the exact same thing
he achieved so much in such a short time had millions in the bank and his bitter departure from brendan Ingle proved to be a long and slow decline to his career
there is a documentary called "little prince, big fight" pretty much shows you hamed at the very end of his decline
if they had fought in their primes nonethless then hamed would have knocked glass jaw barerra out, junior jones did it to a prime barerra and so would hamed
and yes it's true barerra used anabolic steroids from the period 1999-2002 which are considered to be his greatest boxing years
you do the mathComment

lol
At one point i thought we were gonna see the full mount from Barrera
Yeh i kinda have to lean towards Hamed winning in his primeComment

yes and take that human **** fighting **** out of a boxing forum, not everyone appreciates two half naked sweaty men grappling for dominant positionComment

It looked like Hamed didn't like Steward, i don't know why. Look at this interview:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3G_vmGU-ooA (1:12)
If he had a trainer he could listen to( like a Mayweather) he would have probably done better against Barrera. But with should have, would have, could have, we can change the result of every fight. If Foreman would have fought Ali at 100%, if the ref of Tyson/ Douglas would have made the count correctly, if Holmes would have fought Tyson in his prime, if Ortiz wouldn't have quit against Maidana,etc...Comment

Once again the mythic concept of "prime" enters upon the stage. Fighters are apparently over the hill by age 27 now.
Here's a wild and shocking claim: all versions of Hamed lose handily.
At no point in his career did Hamed have the ability to adapt strategies during the course of a fight. He always relied on his power and reflexes alone to carry him through any tough spots he got into, and when they failed him there was no substance to fall back on. He had reached the limit of success his style could carry him to.
Barrera on the other hand was a true professional: he suffered some hard defeats, adjusted his style, and came back a better fighter even though he was older by the standards of the lower weight classes.Comment
