totally agree - good post! Anything below 145 would be too much - but Cotto has proven he can systematically get down to 146 with no issues... Margarito is just speaking his mind...when Cotto sees those $$$, he's gonna end up at 143 due to overtraining

I know there was a penalty agreement... and it applies also to Pac!
ODLH would have lost $1M for every excess of 1 lb over the contracted weight of 147 lbs... That means to say that if at the Official Weighin, Oscar came in at 148 lbs he will be penalized for $1M, if he came in at 149 he will be penalized for $2M, at 150 lbs $3M.

At fight night, ODLH was allowed to Rehydrate... He can add 20 lbs if he wanted to.
ALL FIGHTERS IS ALLOWED TO REHYDRTAE~
But the thing is, he hasn't done that! Blame his Nutritionist!!!

I would agree with you but even a Cotto at 145 is still a devestating fighter. he isnt washed and we will finally see pacquiao fighta good fighter at 147 not drained shot dlh or overrated no defense hatton. Cotto is considered a big WW, he comes in fight night between 155 and 160, that is considered a big WW. He only fights like one against cupcake fighters, but he is a big WW.
