I agree with Margarito, Yes Cotto has weighed in at 145/146 before for a welterweight fight but he wasnt restricted by any contract, the 145 contract is more of a mental thing which i think would affect him.

Paul Williams didn't get hit with 270 punches. It is much harder to punch up then it is to punch down. I don't care if he didn't use the plaster or not. I will never look at another Margarito fight the same again. If he used the plaster once against a perceived aging Mosely. What makes you think he didn't use it it his biggest fight of his life Cotto. It just makes to much sense when you think about it the way Cotto looked at the beginning of the fight and the confidence he had. He was outlanding Margo two to one. After round six the fight changed drastically. Before anyone starts to say his punches weren't hurting Margo, he would have won an easy decision if the punches from Margo didn't start taking a toll on him. Also Gotti is a warrior and speaks like a retart, slurred and ****. Much respect to Gotti but knowing when a fight is over doesn't make you a quitter. Cotto making 145 is not going to affect him. He's been saying since the fight was beginning negotiations that 145 would be no problem for him to make. I mean, he's made 146 the last 3 fights he's been in. One pound isn't going to be the deciding factor in the fight.

Cotto will be ok @ 145. I still believe that if they are fighting for Cottos belt i should have been at 147 but it will still be a good fight. Margarit is just angry because his cheating ass is can't fight in the US and might be stuck fighting cab drivers...LOL @ the Tijuana Nenita.
