When you have publications, all sorts of media, Boxing experts, etc all going out on a limb and just flat out saying Margarito cheated, it just adds that much more legitimacy regardless if there isn't any actual proof. A i'm not an assclown i have a valid opinion... please stick to the topic and don't make it personal.

All i have to say is Cotto in every other fight that he has been in NEVER looked that disfigured or bleeding that much he was controlling the fight till round 6 or so and wasn't getting caught with allot of bombs...then all you see from then on out him getting ripped to pieces in a few rounds after that...the same time it took for plaster to harden... Marg has got a good chin but he KO's bums and then expects huge paydays with p4p's in his division. he's getting there not by fighting the best his record is a bunch of bums... he has losses to Paul and Shane and then a suspect win over Cotto and beat Joshua Clottey, a one handed fighter, over 12 rounds... weaaaaaaaak! Yeah, if you're predisposed to disliking him to begin with I guess your built in bias would make it seem clear as day.

Bottom line. Plaster gets you banned for life. The CSAC has never had a case against him. If they did, and they let him come back this soon, it would be their ass. The fact that they are, means they got nothing.

I agree with Margarito, Yes Cotto has weighed in at 145/146 before for a welterweight fight but he wasnt restricted by any contract, the 145 contract is more of a mental thing which i think would affect him.

I don't think mentally Cotto will be affected. He has had many wars, cuts and his mental toughness just gets better. I don't think that him being restricted to 145 having made 146lbs 2 weeks agos will afect him mentally.

If the cut over his eye in the 3rd round with Clottey, even after the beaten received from margarito with plaster or not, didn't affect him mentally, lossing 1 lbs won't either.
