Damage control. Too late, Vic, you've shown your true colors.

if ortiz doesn't want to slur his speech, then he needs to work on his defense, not quitting.

Proud Ortiz fan still, be I. Sure, it wasn't great that he got punked out in that fight - but who hasn't at some point? Haters can fuck off. This kid is cool, and I'll be happy to cheer him on in his next fight.

As for Maidana, he gained a fan in me overnight. Even though he's mucho sloppy (although he's Pernell Whittaker compared to Valero), I found his style entertaining and he showed a lot of heart when he was getting punked out himself.

I wish both men the best of luck in their paths. Real talk, real fan.

I still have a lot of hope for Ortiz. He is still young and very talented! If he can become a smarter fighter, being more patient i can see him getting a lot of lopsided decisions in his favor or late TKO's. Almost every fighter goes through a point in their career when they think they are invincible and KO anyone with one shot. Ortiz will recover just work on your game son!!!

                  Ortiz has the skills.

Once he fully develops his skills and mental approach he will be a p4p quality fighter.

                    Maidana isn't the fast lane.
