I don't know if Roach would be demanding Cotto to come down in weight so much if Cotto hadn't have come into his fight with Clottey at 146. It can be hard to come in at the exact intended weight though when it comes to trying not to come under.

He faught Hatton at 140. Why can't he fight Cotto at 147? Granted, De la Hoya was close to shot, drained, and couldn't pull the trigger, but Pacquiao looked very comfortable to me at 147. I'm so sick of this catch weight nonsense. Paulie Malignaggi vs Juan Diaz at 138.5? What the hell is 138.5? Mayweather Marquez, in a fight thats 140-147? Rediculous. So this is what PacMan and Roach have become. A bunch of glorified sparring sessions with nothing on the line but guranteed Money. I understand the Money and why the boxers have become HOOKERS for the big pay day but its hard for me to say a boxer is #1 P4P in the world when everyone of his fights seem to be an exhibition in a madeup weight class. David Haye is not asking for a catch weight to go one division up. Paul Williams will go up to 160from 147 and never complain about making weight or what his opponents will weigh. So why are Roach and Manny taking the ***** route in draining every fighter they face is beyond me. Against Delahoya i think everyone understood why they wanted to drain Oscar and it truly was a historical big payday but now its becoming ridiculous. They only thing more ridiculous is how people are saying why Cotto will not come down one or two more pounds to make the fight, well its the same reason why Manny and Roach will not think about going up a pound or two. ADvantages...We keep calling PacMan the best but keep putting provisions and clauses in each contract to keep all the Advantages in Mannys Corner. Its seems like Fighters have to sell their souls to TopRank to get a Night with Manny and to top it off dont get to do ****. What kind of Hooker is that. Cotto needs Pacquiao not the other way around. The only leverage Cotto has is that they have the same promoter. Arum's greed is the only reason this fight is happening anyway. Pac should fight a good 140lbs fighter maybe Nate Campbell or Joan Guzman. Both of those fighters would be great tune ups for Mayweather.

Well Roach just got "trainer of the year" so I assume he knows what he's doing. The only reason people are saying he should go up now is because of Clottey exposing him. Pac is not nearly as big nor does he have near the defense Clottey has. 147 would be a lot of trouble for Pac against Cotto
