  • A big fight but I'm just not hyped up about it... I would prefer Cotto and Pacman face other opponents next for the time being.

      You're just nervous.

Cotto if allowed to rehydrate will run smooth over Fanny Pac's lil overrated ass

If he signs the fight for a catchweight, he has no excuse.

            That is all.
            This post makes no sense..........

You shoudl be saying Pacman dont ask Cotto to get to a weight where it wont be fair and he wont fight effectively.

Whether Cotto signs or not.....143 is not a fair fight...dont pretend it is.

            • The catweight should be at 144+. Anything less and Cotto will be at a huge disadvantage

will cotto fight??? damn no. he will not take it to waste his title.

he can fight at 145 for 60/40 split and non title fight.
@ 144 the fight should be 60/40 pac.
@ 147 the fight should be 80/20 pac, because pac is taking all the risk.
@ 142 the fight should be 50/50 because cotto is taking the bigger risk.

i think your crazy pac has already fought at 147 and it should be at that weight if he wants the title it should be 60 40 or 65 35 at 147 especially since its him calling cotto out

LAST YEAR... IN MARCH... Pac was figthing at 130lbs, and was wobbled by Marquez.

Now... 18 months later... he WILL get hit by a 155lb Miguel Cotto...

Whether Pac can take THAT kind of power... is yet to be seen.
Yeah we don't even know if he could of handled Hatton's power for that matter, because Hatton was out of there before he could inflict any damage. I just don't know if folks are thinking Pacman will do a repeat on Cotto of what he did to Hatton? Are they thinking that Manny hits harder than Mosley, Margarito and Clottey? Are they banking on Cotto never landing?

No disrespect to Manny, but this is a huge step up in terms of the type of power he'd be facing.
