I'm more concerned about a next day weight clause if they got one. Cotto looked sharp making 146, under 145, he's pushing it.

He had a bad cut and he was fighting Clottey... but i Still saw stamina problems in that fight... and Clottey wasnt pressuring the way margarito did...

      145 Worries me...

That's the price to pay for all those millions... I know he shouldn't take it, but he has 2 or less years left in boxing.

Pacquiao should just fight at 147. If he wants to beat the champ, he should move up.

I hope Cotto's okay at 145 though if they do fight at this weight.

If he rehydrates back up to 155+ then that'll be okay and 145 wouldnt have ***ed him up.

Clottey was no qwhere near applying the pressure that Tony applied or what manny would apply for that Matter if he thought he had Cotto hurt or a chance to finish him. Cotto can little afford to give up any advantage he might think he has because to tell you the truth I don't see many. Even the size Manny looked ripped and ready at 148lbs back in December. He probably walks around at or near 147lbs......Cotto in my mind really needs to work on his foot work and learn how to circle in either direction if he gets predictable manny can land the right hook as he shwon and the straight left. He is like I said a hard little bastard to catch....Cotto will have to catch him jumping in and try to land something big early on so he can slow him down to the body...I think Manny has the advantage in this fight. Speed kills and manny is light years faster than any welter weight....lefty

One thing that Cotto does... is when he is being punched at, he often punches right with his opponent like Marquez does.

Cotto WILL hit Pac... and we will have to see what happens when that situation arrives.

                    From another thread Re-post.

Even though I think catchweights are bull****.

If Cotto signs the fight at anything less then 147...I will make ZERO excuses...He knows what his limitations are better then any of us.

If he goes past his limitations to make some BIG BUCKS thats on him...

He has decided to take that chance.

                      They won't let him rehydrate.

Cotto weighed 160 in the ring when he was still at 140.
