Pac is now calling the shots, if cotto is willling to oblige, Cotto is agreeing to coming the best at the catch weight, I say 144 is a fair competitive fight, pac is getting a disadvantage by going up and cotto like wise by going down.

They both are fighting on even grounds.
If they are fighting for COttos WELTERWEIGHT title... then they should fight at welterweight.

And I dont wanna hear "anything between 141 and 147 is welterweight"

When someone asks me, what weight is welterweight.. I say 147lbs.

    The p4p title is mythical...

    The welterweight title is REAL.

If Pac wants the ww title... then GO and take it.

If pac wants to come in lighter to maintain his speed, then I have no problem.. but don't make the champion suffer... beat him at his best.

Well then Pac should fight at 140 and leave the WW's alone.

      No catchweight bull****.

      Fight at 140

But not the kind of drama that comes with big names. Not the kind of drama that could re-arrange boxing's upper echelon.

I'd rather see Pac-Cotto than Pac-Bradley, is all I'm sayin.

That's the most ridiculous comparison Ive ever seen.

Cotto and Pac arent figthing to seee who is the most skilled.

They are fighting for Miguels WELTERWEIGHT title...

i agree that they shouldnt fight for the title, but for a exhibition of pure skill, then a catch weight is justified.

seriously, if cotto or mosely sell their souls for money then its their fault. No one is forcing them to do a catchweight.

                  Well sure...

But this isnt what we are discussing.

We are discussing a welterweight championship fight... where the welterweight champion.. isn't allowed to fight at welterweight.

                    Not me.

Fighting a name at a dissadvange is not as intriguing as beating-up the young guys at 140.

Hatton was there to be had by ANYBODY at or around 140.

in terms of those bounderies then i agree with u dawg I don't agree that it should be a title shot for pac, but im sure thats not completely pac's fault, the promoters also has a hand in this.
