Former champion Joe Calzaghe has been retired for a few months but the offers continue to pour in. Calzaghe says the desire to fight is no longer there but he would consider a return to the ring for the right amount of money. He would return for an offer of £10 million but also knows that nobody will put that kind of money on the table.

"The only temptation is the cash," Calzaghe told Zoo Magazine. "I’m owed a lot, so obviously I could still use some more. But to fight again, just for that, would be a big mistake. £10 million! I’d come back for that! But, realistically, that’s a joke. Nobody is going to offer me that in my weight division. Anyway, my hands are still sore and I can’t achieve anything else."

Would be great to watch a legend return to the ring, but I don't see any opponents that would give Joe a loss. A Hopkins bout would be the closest thing, might be a draw score, but I think not.

I hope that someone really wants Joe on their record, loss or no loss, Joe Calzaghe would probably be the biggest name on any resume, as I see it - If it was a win.

Dawson vs. Calzaghe would be such a great fight. The best I can think of to be honest. But let's face facts then, Calzaghe is getting old, but probably still has the stamina of 4 Kenyans, Dawson is stronger. Anything could happen, but the odds would be in favour of Joe, even in America.

Bottom line, I really can't see why so many people choose to hate on a guy like Calzaghe. Probably because he beat Hopkins. Hopkins fans are a bit "frustrated", every loss on their record is a robbing to them, also the Joe fight. It's probably because he's british!
