I'm pretty sure he hasn't made $10m dollars for a single fight either but you may be right.

Yeah, exactly, who gives a **** what Hopkins says. He is not exactly Joe's best mate, is he.

THOSE ARE YOUR OPTIONS JOKE CALZAGHE
no no no, he's going to drum up someone out of the woodwork and then create some BS slant on building some obscure fighters credibility and just bank on the fact that he's back in the ring.

he isnt going to fight anyone he can't beat, so you can throw out hopkins, because joe doesn't want to tough fight, you can throw out dawson because he's tied up and the timing isnt right, not only that, dawson all the sudden to joe and his people would not be a good enough draw for joe to comeback with, but he would have no problem fighting a manfredo or someone on that level for them 10 millions.

out of the people in your list, i think pavlik would be the one he calls out, maybe froch, but he's avoided froch for whatever reason, be it money, or what, all i know is that froch has been chasing calzaghe so you know he wants the fight.

bottom line, do the world a favor and stay retired, we're all getting worn of this scam to try and create a demand, bigger bucks. joe coming back like any fighter out of retirement, looks to me as a desperate move, and it looks like someone who can't make up their minds. joe has the demand, no denying that, he's just trying to gain more fans, casual boxing fans who buy into all this kind of crap...............

joe isnt going to fight the fights that hardcore boxing fans want to see, he's going to make a match up that will ensure his undefeated record stays intact...... not taking a real risk by fighting a fight that he could lose, he wont do that.

He could certainly earn a tidy sum of money, but Joe isn't the sort of fighter who most people are dying to see fight again, and he certainly wouldn't be able to command a huge sum.

I would expect no less than 50,000 people turning up to a Calzaghe fight in the UK. People still want to see Joe fight, you just have to step outside America for a minute.

I think Paul Williams is Calzaghe's biggest threat. He has the punch volume to match Calzaghe plus the reach advantage. And it's the same reason why I think Paul is the toughest challenge for Hopkins as well. Hopkins and Calzaghe wouldn't get credit if they beat him probably though, because people would use the size factor to discredit the victory. Chad Dawson has good skills, but he has this terrible habit of taking breaks during rounds, and you just can't do that against Calzaghe.

The Pound was strong against the dollar once, when he fought Hopkins and RJJ it may have been a good rate.

I'm sure the exchange rate was good at the time he fought Hopkins but Wank Warren robbed Calzaghe of that.

                  So yeah, poor Joe.

                  No one deserves that.

He got 6-8 mil dollars for Hops, remember reading that afterwards. As for the Jones bout, I'm not sure. A 50/50 split coupled with poor sales and even worse PPV. Ehh...
