Calzaghe has no legitimate opponents. Plus I wouldn't give anybody huge respect for beating Calzaghe now. He has looked terrible in his last two fights, and is quite clearly, well past his prime.
IF Dawson is overrated..Calzhage doesn't even exist.

His power didn't just disappear, frequent hand injuries ensured he lost the pop that he had.

When did he ever show you this miraculous pop?

He knocked Mitchell out in 2004, and then knocked him about, TKO'd him. Takes some power at least.

Will McIntyre in 2001 whom whilst not elite it's still a same weight decent enough guy, and power is not skill, it's showing the power to KO someone. It was the first time McIntyre had even been down.

Veit in 01, and R1. Woodhall in 2000.

Like I say, decent enough opponents whom don't get KO'd left right and centre, bottom line is you have to demonstrate some power to knock them around and KO them, esp when few others did.

The guy was criticising Calzaghe for being way past prime and his hands being pretty damaged post 2003 and losing a lot of speed and power. That's not a radical thing to say and you'd think it would be up your alley dude...

Well Kris you basically said what I said. Calzaghe has always had decent power, nothing so spectacular that it was "lost" due to hand injuries. He was never a one-punch guy.
