Cotto can't even say Floyd's name after a fight...nor can Tony.
Funny how they talk all that ****,then get amnesia soon as an HBO camera is in their face.
Fanny Pac needs Floyd more legacy wise because he has those JMM gift wins dogging his ass.
Not to mention cherrypicking the sorriest lightweight in history..Diaz.
A Mortified Oscar and a tenderized Hatton round-out Fanny's bull**** resume.Comment

Nice!.......Well said.......But I would lean more on Pacquiao!Manny in essence called out Cotto, so Cotto will get his way of 145lbs
This is a tough fight for both guys. I would lean towards Cotto more but he has shown a propensity to cut badly as of late and that scar tissue will be there and waiting again. With that in mind I only slightly favor Cotto and Manny definitely can win this. Manny is no pushover. His speed and sweeping punches can definitely cut Cotto up. Cotto on the other hand has to find his jab again to win. He cannot let Manny flurry against him and get comfortable. he will have to make Manny hesitate.
Two true warriors fighting. You cannot get any better than that.Comment

I'm wondering what would be the critics if Pac fights Valero next!
Blame Pac for setting a very high standard~

Would this fight be too much risk, not enough reward for Cotto?
He is the bigger man afterall, and Pac is the man that can have any fight he wants at the moment, so it would be in Cotto's hand to take it. The problem is, Arum would want it at catchweight.
Anything lower then 147 puts Cotto at a disadvantage. Coming upto 147 for Pac, puts him at a big disadvantage.
Cotto at 147 is a beast, no matter what Marg took out of him. He fought a majority of the Clottey fight with a huge cut above the eye, no matter how debatable the decision. I feel that coming in at a catchweight would not be fair for Cotto, but could he be in the position to turn down the biggest payday of his career?
Cotto weighs 146lbs during the weighin against Clottey!
I think 144/143 lbs is the Fair catch weight~
