That's because Cotto is now fighting guys that add just as much weigh after the weigh-in as he does.

    Shane

    Tony

    and Clottey...

..can all add just as many lbs after the weigh in as Cotto...He didn't have a 15-20lb weight advantage against them, and couldn't keep them off him.

THAT is why he hasn't been looking like the "Cotto of old"

Just because Floyd is injured the momentum seems to have swung towards Pacquiao with the general public? Fickle.

Pacquiao to make Cotto quit in Round 7

That momentum has been with Pacquiao since the Hoya fight. Floyd just made the scene a bit interesting. And his fake injury does not help at all.

I do agree kinda with what your saying but...pac isnt trying to be the welterweight kind, hes just tryin to get the best fighters around on his resume...not to say he is better at welterweight...but he is better overall...its not like he wont be going up alot of weight...and IF it was at 145 which i doubt, that only 1 pound less then what cotto was for the clottey fight

Cotto is not a legacy building fighter.

He's never even WON a title..and he's been savagely beaten.

Cotto is mediocre at best..hardly a litmus test for entry into the HOF.

This development would evidently show that Manny is greater a man indeed than Mayweather. Mayweather is a fraud.
                    If Mayweather is a fraud..

Why not fight him and PROVE he's a fraud instead of picking on Mrs Cotto-Margarito..??

Mrs Margarito needed a gift just to get by Clottey.

Fanny Pac is picking the weakest link at 147 just like he did at 135..
