Looks like Pac is trying to feast on a fighter that didnt look so good last outing. It might be a bad decision to base his fight with Cotto, with what he saw in Cotto vs Clottey. It also looks like he is worried that Mosley would have beat that ass. Why not call out Cotto before the fight if he wanted it so bad. Looks like he is hand picking opponents that he thinks will be easy just like another fighter by the name of Mayweather. I know Mayweather would be getting a lot of flak for this.

ummm..it was already speculated that he wanted to fight Cotto. He had to win first. Clottey would give anyone problems.

YEAH YOU MIGHT JUST EAT YOUR WORDS..I WILL SAY that Clottey has a better defense than PACQUIAO, but PACQUIAO'S defense is his feet..he is actively moving not standing there to get hit. Now as far as speed, I think PACQUIAO'S speed is much faster than Clottey's..So with that said..COTTO might just get KTFO...If PACQUIAO VS COTTO happens..as long as its not in MSG(COTTO HOME ADVANTAGE) I will bet all my pts against you...Your gonna say that MOSLEY IS FAST AND COTTO BEAT HIM, YOU CAN SAY JUDAH IS FAST AND COTTO BEAT HIM, but PACQUIAO's speed and determination is far more and different than the latter...Can't wait for this fight to happen..after what i saw last night (you can say all you want that COTTO HAD a bad night) i am more confident that PACQUIAO can beat COTTO...no doubt...

I laugh at many peoples comments on here.

Cotto was cut, and that changed his plans. Clottey has great defense and COtto had to preserve that eye.

I have confidence in Cotto that he can land a solid blow and possibly hurt Pacman. Not an easy fight for both. Velocity can be timed.

Enough said. THis is boxing. Cotto fought adversity and with a huge gash over his eye for 9 rounds.

Pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao has ordered his promoter Bob Arum to make the fight with WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto. Arum already has a date set down on paper, November 14 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao sat ringside and watched Cotto win a split decision over Joshua Clottey in New York's Madison Square Garden.

While I think Cotto will be too big for the Pacman, it should be an entertaining fight for as long as it lasts.

I can see Cotto taking Pac out early (< 6 rnds), but I wouldn't be surprised if Pac takes out Cotto in the middle rounds.
