I don't want to see any of this catch weight crap. If Manny wants to fight with the big boys, then let them come in at their weight. You either campaign at welterweight or you don't. There is no 144 lb. weight class.

Manny will take out Cotto in 8, Manny will be too fast for Cotto. As soon as Cotto gets cut over the right eye, from Manny's overhead left, he won't be able to fight nomore. Manny won't be as forgiving as Clottey was, if Cotto is hurt Manny will take him down.

Remember in the movie Gladiator with Russel Crow....Remember when the Emperor agrees to fight him in the Colosseum....but right before the fight he stabs him the ribs to get an advantage..
Same basic principal in "Catch Weights"
Either you fight the man when he's 100% or you don't fight him.

A fight in which Pacquiao was supposed to be a simple stay busy fight for Barrera.
There's also Lehlonolo Ledwaba. not a great fighter but prime as can be when pac destroyed him.
Jorge Solis is still to this day ranked #3 at featherweight by ring magazine right behind chris john and steve luevano.

being stabbed in the back with a knife is the same as asking cotto who just made 146lbs in the welterweight fight to make 145 or 144? horrible analogy. The catchweight excuse is only used by the losing fighters fanbase.
aka excuse for losing.
