pac throws a lot of straight punches. Duran throws a lot of hooks. Pac's faster, Duran's has more one punch power, Pac has better footwork.

of course he's not duran. no one or at least im not claiming to think pacquiao is duran or better but u have to be blind not to think there are no similarities.

Kobe is no michael jordan but u have to admit there are so many similarities.

I do admit that duran is the better fighter technically. but Pacquiao trumps him in arsenal of punches.

Pacquiao knocked out sasakul for his flyweight title, knocked out the alleged bigger & stronger hatton for his 140 title

          both great fighters
both cause unreal pressure & ferocity inside the ring
both have coal black waving hair
both loved & revered by their country
both short in stature but big in heart & fighting spirit beating bigger men
          both heavily decorated boxers
          both legends

          both very very similar.
I double check and he started at 119.

how so? duran would work the head and body.. he used his jab, right, hooks, uppercuts, overhand rights.. everything. Pacquiao in the last 3 fights barely learned how to throw that devistating right hook he landed on Hatton.. he for the most part hasn't been much of a body puncher either. haven't seen many uppercuts from Pacquiao until recently either.

I'll give you footwork because Duran would pretty much walk your ass down, he knew how to cut that ring off though.

118,119 its basically the same. wtf are we talking about here in the first place? both fighters started of really low & wound up winning in glorious fashion in higher weights. u cant argue with that.
