And Brian Urlacher never played a down of Linebacker until he joined the pros. Boy some boxing fans are just plain ignorant when they use their analogies.

I think you have too much sand in your vagina when it comes to MMA. I dont like MMA more than I like boxing. But I dont understand the dislike from boxers. I suppose that just like Mayweather Jr. here a lot of you are too damn young to know just what the general public thought of boxers as real fighters before the UFC. You have lived in a world where your art is respected. 20 years ago the public believed that it was just a sport and some monk would have kicked the ever living **** out of you because he could kick. MMA changed all that. It proved that boxing wasn't just a sport.

With all the MMA vs boxing stuff, i found that Frank Shamrock, a former 5 time world champ, and best P4P, says he only watches boxing an that boxing is harder than MMA.

Some MMA haters will give him respect.
I'm not gonna disagree with Shamrock cuz boxing is my favorite sport too BUT, you have to understand that Shamrock hates Dana White and the UFC so this is basically like taking a shot at boxing's main competitor which takes viewers away from UFC in favor of boxing. Shamrock isn't ******, he knew what he was saying and why he was saying it.

        Personally, I think...

Boxer into MMA = Boxer do better than most would think, winning more than he loses

MMA into Boxing = WE all know what would happen...

I think thats the other way around. what do boxers know about submissions? most boxers would get pwned on the ground. take Ray Mercer for example. Mercer got owned by a street fighter in an MMA match in like 20seconds. Where does your theory fit into that equation?

Ray Mercer? the same Ray Mercer who in the early 2000's was not even in shape when he fought Klits

Ray Mercer is old as hell, put a younger boxer who still has it son

Everyone says a boxer would get owned in MMA, wheres the proof?? Not every fight ends on the ground, many stay on the feet till a KNOCKout son

Boxers train and practice their discipline ALOT more than MMA fighters, MMA fighters do not train NO WHERE near as much as boxers, look at Tito Ortiz, he was a champ and barely trained, mostley drank

Boxers have a POTENT punch and in MMA if you got hit by one, its lights out junior, how can a MMA fighter get the boxer down if anytime they come close they'll get hit. MMA fighters are sloppy boxers so its easy to get in on them

youre ******. Playin LB an SS is very similar. Playin LB an Qb is TOTALLY DIFFERENT! MMA is a JOKE! It's a college wrestler or Jr college wrestler tryin to Box or tryin 2 kickbox. IT'S SAD. Liddell wasn't even a standout wrestler he was a bum. He'd get killed on a mat by a world class wrestler,KO'd by a Boxer or embarassed by a kickboxer. MMA is the dumbing down of society.

at the end of the day it an opion.

I like to see boxing more than MMA because it more action and movement sport. It more visual that MMA when the guy in MMA starts to grapple and the ground and you have no idea what is going on.

MMA is a plays where it could have been greatly improved but the problem it didnt in the striking part.

The could used abit of Kung Fu, Karate,...etc and many other type more.

But now most MMA is Kickboxing and BJJ and they throw the rest out of the window. It not that those are enough or not but there are some special training in each type of these martial arts that has a taste to it.

Another weird thing about boxing is why wont boxers go through Iron Fist training? It will protect there hand better and make there punchs stronger.

Frank Shamrock isn't the most hated fighter in MMA for nothing.
