    Can't wait

One thing though, when Guzman beats Bradley, I want him to go back down to 135. Unless he can get a fight with Hatton

Great fight. Lets just hope the bell actually rings & both of these guys are in it. Is guzman now a 140 pounder?

      A pick em fight.

Joan Guzman should be too much for bradley. Bradly has a amatuerish style, He's fast but makes many mistakes, Holt should have stopped him (and i give credit to Holt for not making excuses - huge legal problem over his head right before the fight) But guzman can counter, lead, he has exceptional footwork, decent power, good chin, and exceptional speed/quickness. hell he used to be trained by the self proclaimed greatest trainer ever (Floyd snr) At 140 he only one beating Guzman is Pac, zab possibly (he still has speed and is a very hard puncher, nate Campbell (experience - like to call him lil hopkins) But honestly Nate deserves the fight with bradley point blank!!

seems like he only made 2 mistakes in the whole fight cause holt couldn't do anything else. he was probably thinking about that legal problem between rounds.

There are a lot of brothers that deserve big fights but they wont get it b/c they have no fan base & can actually fight & pose a threat to the big superstars so they sort of get boxing blacklisted.

              Pau Williams
              chad dawson
              shane mosley
              nate campbell
              winky wright
              glenn johnson

How da hell do u explain a clearly overrated white guy named ricky hatton get 2 cracks at 2 p4p 1#s who also happen to be the biggest stars in the sport? Add in kelly pavlik getting a shot at bernard hopkins with hopkins trying to stage a fight vs adamek but chad dawson & gelnn johnson cant get a call.

O, i almost forgot. Joe Calzaghe getting a shot with both roy jones jr & bernard back to back.

              NO shame in their game.

His biggest mistake was not making weight against Campbell, and he paid the price big time for it. Not making weight unfortunately happens in boxing from time to time, Guzman isn't the only one (although on this site he's treated like he is). And, if you've followed Guzman's career you know that early on he was getting f ucked big time by his managers and had a series of unfortunate things to occur. Things started to get better with new management recently, and he fucked that up not making weight but even after that, he had a title fight set up which would have occured last month, all sides agree to fight then the IBF steps in and says, nope sorry, we're going to honor the Oklahoma suspension so that fight got scratched as well.

As I said, pretty bad luck.
Not making weight does happen in boxing, this is however rare in a championship fight and I believe thats not why people rip on Guzman these days. Guzman was medically cleared to fight Campbell, the fight was to take place with none of the belts on the line. Shortly after Guzman's people announced he was to pull out, because he felt drained. After all the trash talking between him and Campbell that was at least anticlimactic and at most one of the biggest disappointments in boxing last year. That's why people treat him the way they do these days.

Furthermore I agree with the IBF not letting Guzman fight for the title and Ive been a sanctioning body sceptic since I joined this board. This has nothing to do with luck, Guzman brought this up on himself.

Ive got Bradley on this one btw, he's bigger and likely stronger but Im see him having trouble seeing as Guzman is a skilled fighter

"Earn it with your fists" mentality, I love. Bradley is sure as hell not afraid of taking tough fights.

Oh yeah, Bradley will win this one. He isnt as slick as Guzman, but he is stronger, younger, and not exactly a crude boxer himself.
